My monitor was delivered with care. I bought this monitor because I work from home and needed a second screen. When it arrived I was surprised because it’s bigger than I thought it would be. Easy instructions, easy to put together. I was hesitant to buy looking at older reviews but I’m glad I went with my first mind because honestly you can’t beat the price and it is great quality. It is a brand new monitor not used. Please pay attention to newer reviews.

Im writing this review using this monitor. It works just fine. You have to finish constructing the monitor onto its stand. And, the manufacturers image that shows on Amazon indicates the package includes a HDMI Cable. It in fact, does not. It only includes a VGA Cable. The monitor is capable of supporting either; which is nice. There is a little wear on the monitor on the top corners... The screen itself; not the casing...very tiny dots that most people might not notice. The monitor itself is great for the price. It does allow you to tilt it at different angles. However, you cannot raise or lower it...I mean, you could, with the help of a book or box or something to sit it on. But, the fact you cant adjust the height hasnt caused me an issue. It also has a choice of picture settings. You can adjust the monitor picture settings to what you need for optimal viewing for any room or lighting. It defaults to a picture setting labeled Low Blue Light; this setting seems fine for regular computer work. I have ordered a second one of these to extend my desktop to two monitors; I did have to purchase a USB multi-monitor adapter for this which is normal if your PC doesnt already have the multi-monitor capability.

Bought this for my computer for leasure activity and it was great for the price. But make sure your computer has the amount of necessary plugs for it. I had to buy a dongle for one of the monitors. The picture if good for gaming I can play steam on here with FarCry 4 and it look great havnt noticed any monitor lag. Same when I play minecraft. I would buy this for anyone who doesnt care about extreme monitor looks. I just needed something simple and so I got two. I plan to buy better ones in tbe future for my digital drawing but not till I save up alot and that wont be for awhile. My dad saw these and when I told him about my plans he already claimed them.

The monitor has excellent clarity, brightness, etc. The size is just right for my needs, big enough to read but not so big it takes up a lot of desk space. The resolution is what I need it to be. There are two things I dont like about it. Firstly, the monitor attaches to the base which then rests on the desk. There is something about this construction which causes the monitor to ever-so-slightly bounce when I type. It becomes more noticeable if I bump the desk. Im not saying it is loose and all over the place, but it does move, just a little, but enough to catch my attention from time to time. I wish it were a bit more sturdy in that respect. My other monitors do not do this. The second thing is not the monitors fault, its my own for not more carefully reading the specs, but I wish this monitor also had a DVI port. It has the vintage analog VGA port and an HDMI port. While HDMI is the darling of electronics and a good choice for a digital port due to its ubiquity for many computers, laptops, and consumer electronics, an optional DVI port would be a great addition. I have a device that is DVI-only, so Ive resorted to Plan B for that one. Oh well. Still, all in all Im very pleased with it.

Im a designer and frantically needed a bigger monitor to connect my MacBook to. I wanted to get a decently sized and affordable monitor that wouldnt cost me an arm and a leg like a Thunderbolt would. Right around $100, this monitor had great reviews (even had a review from a fellow designer) and had same day shipping. I bit the bullet not expecting much. When it arrived, I was really impressed by how easy it was to set up - look me about 10 minutes total from opening the boxes to taking off all the plastic to get this baby up and running. Remember to purchase an HDMI to HDMI cord if youre a fellow Mac user so that you can actually use this guy. Or get a VGA to thunderbolt adapter and youll be golden. This monitor comes with a VGA to VGA cord (youve been warned). This is a fantastic product for a designer or anyone who just needs a bigger monitor. Normally Im very wary of HP products (like laptops because they all are miserable machines) but this doesnt fall into the group of things you must steer clear of.

Looked nice enough, but the base to the adjustable stand didn’t fully connect, just kind of loosely held the monitor up. I don’t really trust that it will hold up if I bump into my desk or something.

Honestly this is a great monitor for gaming. My other monitor was a bit bigger which made it harder to game, therefore I wanted to down size a bit to see if there would be a difference which is was! Great purchase! It’s not a bad price as well. The only thing is that it says it can adjust the screen but I’m too scared to move it around since it’s not budging. But either way there’s no need for me to move this one around. And it also has a very slim look which is great! In love and will be purchasing more in the future! Took a picture how it looks with the lights on, and off. Brightness is still great!

This monitor was exactly what i needed at work. I have a small portable monitor that i carry with me and use in the hotel but i was able to purchase this one for my work office and leave it on my desk. Once i got the adapter for the serial port, it was easy to put together. I have a Dell laptop but this HP monitor works well. the color is perfect and the size of the screen makes it easy to view in a conference room. I love it.

This monitor displays stellar image quality at 21.5 which is, in my opinion, the optimal size for a 1080p computer monitor working at a distance of 2 feet or less. The high pixel density makes text, images, and videos crisper. When I received the monitor, I was worried about the orange glow. Thankfully, there are a ton of settings. When you do buy this monitor I recommend immediately switching to multimedia color preset even if you do plan on primarily using the monitor for work like I do. My only other minor complaint is the bright power indicator which can be extremely bright and distracting for my OCD mind. This can be easily fixed with a small piece of electric tape. I love the slim bezel and the design is sleek and pleasing to the eye. The power cable is long enough to reach the wall. It comes with a VGA cable, but I recommend using HDMI connection if your computer supports it. It doesnt come with a HDMI cord, but you can easily get one for a few bucks.

Great looking display for the price and a nice size! I originally saw some great reviews for this product so that is what prompted me to choose this monitor, especially after seeing the reasonable price. I later saw some iffy reviews about the monitor stopped working just after getting it, so I started to get nervous as I was waiting for it to arrive.I was nervous because I did have a bad experience with an HP laptop in the past that did not last and questioned HPs reliability. I have only had this monitor for 3 months now, but I havent had any problems with it so far. I bought it as a second display for a laptop and the colors are very vibrant and have a sharp display. I was looking for a monitor that was adjustable and had all of the ports that I needed. This one did just that. The matte screen also keeps my monitor from collecting visible fingerprints. The monitor was pretty easy to set up. As an IT Specialist, I would highly recommend this product even if you are not on a budget.

Experience content on a multi-functional monitor with the best specs at the right price. The HP Pavilion 22cwa 21.5” Full HD display with an IPS panel is versatile for gaming with vivid colors and provides 178-degree viewing for the best quality from any position. A VGA cable is included for your convenience and an HDMI port can turn any desk into a multi-display setup. Get trusted HP performance for your home or office.
