Ah, the HP Pavilion. Reigns number 1 in my heart. While I may not know much about monitors, what I do know is that this one has never failed me. I got this in 2016 and still use it today in 2019 and will continue to use it. Its taken college multitasking and many long gaming sessions and even long breaks with the monitor on and game on-screen and it still hasnt failed me. It pains me to see that there are people who recieved bad products or have mistreared/overworked their monitors, but dont let that deter you. This is an amazing piece of technology and is number 1 in my heart and will always be my number 1 reference, whether it be for gaming or personal/business use. For being 3 years old and counting and kicking ass, the HP Pavilion hasnt let me down and if treated properly, wont let you down :) Some serious notes: While some have complained or experienced pixel deterioration. I will admit that there have been times that I noticed my monitor may not have performed as it once had, but the picture is still vibrant and clear for me. The controls are easy to navigate. I will say that moving the monitor, aka, taking it apart to different areas can be a hassle, I would say that its well worth it. Final: While there have been some unlucky few who may have received bad products or mistreated them, I can proudly say that after 3 years my HP Pavilion is still grinding and performing as if it were day 1. I absolutely love this monitor and it will always be number 1 and my number 1 monitor I refer to friends and family. Treat the monitor right and itll treat you right :)

I read plenty of reviews saying mine went bad in one year! or something similar to this nature. So my brother bought one. He loved the color upgrade and how crisp/sharp this monitor looked with his new customer gaming desktop. After one year, no issues. So I bought one. Again another year went by, no issues. So I bought a second one for myself (three screen setup, my laptop is on the left) as well as one for my fiancée. Its been over a year since the last two monitors have been bought and all of our monitors are still going strong. Ive always used HP monitors (my last one is still working in my mothers office after buying it in 2010) and never had a problem so I can only assume there must have been delivery issues or factory issues out the gate for those select bunch who have faulty monitors. As for the monitor itself, the colors can be adjusted and there are multiple 1-click settings (cinematic, gaming, etc) to automatically change the look. I love playing League or watching Crunchyroll on these monitors. The colors are nearly comparable to my Samsung TV. Is this monitor going to suck you into some virtual 4K world where everything is perfect? Of course not. Thats what $200+ models are for. But for less than $100 bucks, you really cannot go wrong with this monitor, as evident of our 4 purchases.

I found this monitor to have great picture and graphics for documents, pictures and website. It also is a decent size for a monitor. Not too big or small. I dont game but my daughter who is a gamer recommended this monitor which was recommended by her gamer friends. I do question the sense of sending a installation disk when most computers dont have a disk drive.

i read the reviews, some good some bad. for 99 dollars, i decided id try it out for myself. this is my 7th monitor and boy oh boy is that a clear crisp picture, it needs a bracket to be used on a multi monitor stand, i got one and its easy to use. if it lasts longer than a year, ill probably replace all my other monitors with this same model. well see. had it a few weeks now, and its been working perfectly. *Updated: 2-12-23 So, Ive had this monitor since 12-11-20 and its still working just as it did the first day I set it up. Have never had any issues with it. Its still a really nice monitor. The One thing I can say I dont like... is that I waited too long to get more at the same price. Was $99, but still worth it. Ya snooze, Ya lose

This my 2nd purchase of this make and model, the 1st was 2 years ago and still running like a champ. My recent purchase came with no surprises, it works, looks good, has what I need for specs and as before arrived w/o any dead pixels or any other defect. I needed more display space (now a remote employee!) and thought about going to a 27 or 32 inch. My inner boy scout took over and I decided to go with duals (what are the odds of both failing at the same time?) for redundancy. Very pleased with my choice. Just a heads up.. the unit arrived with a VGA cable, rather than HDMI as some listing show. Also, though the monitor can be VESA mounted, its up to you to get the adapter. I didnt need one, the supplied base is fine for my installation. Finally.. for the second time mine arrived in a HP box, clearly identifying the contents, glad I was home.

I heard a lot of negatives about this value monitor before I purchased it. With that said, it has been going for 4 years and 3 months without any problems. I have two of them. I use them every single day. They are on for about 16 hours a day. I only shut it off when I sleep. Now I plan to buy another two for another office that I am setting up. Considering bang for your buck, I highly recommend!

One of the best screens on the market, for a cheap price that it goes for. For a person who just has a laptop, and when ever i get back home i plug in my secondary monitor to do work on, or multitask, it is definitely bang for a buck. Why? For a person who does not edit photos, or look into image cleanliness or any other editing software too heavily, i believe this is a great choice. Would i recommend it? Absolutely! I might be a little bit different costumer for a product like this, because it is not a main screen, i tend to look at it 40% of the time im on my computer, but for a person who is using this as a main screen - go for it! And while youre at it, grab two! Why 4 stars then? No speakers. From an HDMI screen youd expect a speaker these days. No, i was not disappointed when i got it. I read the description and knew exactly what im getting, but its just that one small detail that lacks the perfect score. Mainly due to the fact, that my laptop comes equipped with weak and noisy speakers (in a bad way), thus making me resort to external audio sources.

I am beyond pleased with this monitor. I am a bit of a monitor snob - that is to say, I get spoiled at work with myriad monitors and other fun electronics. So, after looking around and seeing some reviews, I decided to go with the HP Pavillion. I will say, before it arrived, I was nervous. Had I made a good purchase? The price is what scared me the most - no way that something good could be priced so cheaply. When it arrived, and even before plugging it in, I know I had made the right choice. It is a solid piece of workmanship, from the beveled back to the gorgeous flat, front of the monitor. I was so pleased, and I hadnt even plugged it in yet! Upon plugging it in, I was absolutely happy with my purchase. The colors are vibrant, the blacks and true blacks, and the whites are true white (no lingering blue tint). There is also a very easy to use control panel under the power button that includes very intuitive tweaking of the four or so profiles they offer you to use. I have had this monitor for nearly six months now and it is still going on strong. I do believe I will be buying another one to set up a dual-monitor work-space. Id give this monitor more stars if I could! With the gorgeous image it projects, along with the incredible price point, I consider this to be THE top of the tier for those looking for similar monitors from other manufacturers.

This monitor worked very well to support my working from home during the worst of the pandemic and even as I have transitioned back to full-time in the office. However after 14 months of service, it now has a yellow screen that is really unbearable and cannot be fixed except by bringing in a tech which will cost way more than a 14 month old monitor is worth.
