The HP M27ha has a great picture. its frame/bezel is excellent, its sound quality is good and it had the makings of a great mid-price monitor. Its deficiencies are in its inability to retain settings. The sound setting has to constantly be reset upon sleep mode as the monitor does not retain this setting in its memory. it retains a lot but not something in inherently frustrating as resetting a sound setting. It could have been 5 stars but this knocked it down to 3. But thats HP quality, has great looks but lets you down by crumbling into the sea.

With COVID keeping my office shut, I really missed my dual 27-inch monitors at work. My job would not pay for new monitors, so I decided to buy a pair. I wanted some that were good quality and didnt break the bank since this was coming out of my own pocket. This 27-inch monitor by HP seemed to have great review and did the job. They were easy to hook up and the best part, they can be VESA mounted, which was a must for my home setup. That saves so much room on my desk. Note, I 100% use this from work from home and browsing the internet. I do not use this for gaming. Im not sure how theyd hold up for gaming, but for the price, it makes a world of difference in my work from home setup.

Works great, nice clear picture. Includes speakers so thats great. And no annoying flashing light when its powered off like our last monitor.

The thin bezels and the matte finish are really nice. The speakers were a major bummer. The monitor either doesnt have good speakers, or there are no good drivers for mac. The audio quality is very bad (almost like playing audio on 16kbps bitrate) - especially, the base can not be heard at all. The sounds are damp like listening to them on an old 1970s radio player. Id definitely not recommend for tasks like watching movie, or playing games with the monitors speakers.

This monitor arrived on time, and was well protected in the box! The hardest part of the set up was getting it out of the packaging- which is good, thats why it was all intact! lol Truly lightweight, and it came with VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, and also a 3.5mm stereo audio cable. With all these options, it should work with ANY computer! The menu buttons are on the right side, on the bottom of the screen - a bit small and there are no markings on the front to differentiate what you are pressing, so you do have to look underneath to choose the correct button . You wont need a software CD or download link to set this up. As soon as I was all connected, my HP Elitebook found it and connected. The monitor was set to the correct resolution so I did not need to adjust this. Looks like this monitor supports audio over HDMI, so you can probably use it as a TV when connected to a streaming device or internet, but I have not tried that yet. I have been using this monitor for work for a few months and am very happy with it!

The picture quality isnt very good at all, but the built in speakers are impressive for what they are. I can see the backlight showing through on the bottom corners of my screen, although they can be ignored when bright pictures are being displayed. Its also worth mentioning that this screen looks very dull sometimes, and colors really dont stand out very well. However, that can also be ignored after getting used to the experience. As for the speakers, they are in the back of the monitor. They have a great sound quality compared to what I thought they would be. Overall, the monitor would be fine for basic office work. The built in speakers arent much, yet they are clear and loud enough to understand perfectly. It will also keep your desk free of clutter to not require stand-alone speakers.

UPDATE: I have purchased four of these units for the office. I am now being told by AMZ that I can not purchase any more due to imposed limits. I have been waiting months (15 days plus two years) to be able to update our office with replacement monitors. Now that staff is coming back to work I have hit another roadblock. Now I have to find another model/brand. Good thing I didnt promise more 27 units to others. Very Disappointed. Original review: We have been purchasing the HP 24mh monitors as replacements around the office, and I came across these HP M27ha models which are essentially just a 27 versions for the same price. The only downfall for both models is the lack of extra USB ports like you find on higher end units, but we can work around that. My folks are please with the extra real estate.

The HP M27ha FHD Monitor is an affordable option for those looking for a great work from home setup. The optimized screen offers crisp pictures on a full HD display with ultra-wide viewing angles. You can stare at the 27-inch monitor all day since HP Low Blue Light software filters blue light without leaving the yellow tint. The comfortability continues as you adjust your computer monitor’s height or pivot to your liking and use the VESA mounting compatibility to find the right position in your home office. You will finally achieve your multimedia setup as you enjoy convenient audio built into the display and utilize HDMI, DisplayPort™, and VGA ports.
