Just recieved it. Fresh out the box, its sleek. Light weight and slim but has a nice sized screen. Upon turning it on, theres a computer voice walking you through setup (wireless, windows setup). NOTE: This computer DOES NOT come with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc). I decline McAfee antivirus... I personally think that software jacks up your computer on purpose in order to get you to upgrade their software. Thats just me. Anyway, so far so good. This laptop is nice! It only had Microsoft edge so I downloaded Chrome as my internet browser. It took one second and I was browsing the net. Its super fast. I cant speak to the battery life because I just started using it but Im incredibly happy with this buy. If anything changes Ill edit this comment but so far so good.

Great machine with good memory. Very easy to set up. It takes about an hour to charge the machine, and the battery lasts about five hours with typical web browsing. My eight year old grandson is using it for virtual learning and he has adjusted to it very nicely. Keyboard is easy for him to use, especially with his little fingers. The keyboard is not illuminated. The mousepad is not super sensitive which is nice. The screen resolution is very good and the image quality is excellent. The laptop is very light. Overall very happy with the lap top.

Horrible battery life can’t get me through the short school day.

We got this for our 5th grader as she was sharing a laptop with me for her homeschool activities and its perfect for her school needs. She really likes that she has her own school laptop and she can personalize it as she wants. It is fast enough for her online school and the graphics are also good for her online school. If youre needing a very basic laptop I would recommend this one!

I liked it for the numeric keypad, my last laptop didnt have that. Soon after purchase the screen had a couple small bubbles. Perhaps its the heat (I live in the tropics). The fan also can be loud at times.

What a piece of crap. We were just buying this as a cheapie computer to get us by till we could afford a much better one. Cheap is the right term. This is the worst computer Ive ever owned. We got a notebook computer a year ago for 150 that performs better than this. Just spend the extra money and get something good, or apparently downgrade and get something cheaper. This is the last HP we buy.

For the price point you really can not argue. A couple of things that COULD be a bit better, fans tend to be a little loud, screen quality is not great, and the keyboard is not back lit. However it runs most programs, multitasks web pages and even plays a few older games okay.

To be honest, my brother suggested this laptop since my previous one died. I like it because it serves its purpose. I dont know much else about computers. The only trouble I do have with this laptop is keeping the screen focused so that the vibrancy and/or brightness is consistent. The brightness changes constantly with the lighting in the room. I hope this helps.
