Greater than one weekThis is my second purchase of this unit. My household was out of surge-protecting extension cords. In addition, we have numerous USB-charged products and not enough chargers. I bought six of these, thinking that would give me a sufficient reserve. Well, they all got used, so I bought another six. I cant say how good the surge protection is, but they work great as extension cords and USB power sources.
