With limited options for power supplies with fully modular cables in this price range, this unit is an absolute bargain. The fan is very quiet, voltages remain stable, and it has more than enough cables for the average build. The only issue I had was with the length of the 8 pin EPS cable; It wasnt quite long enough to feed behind the motherboard. If you require 4 6/8-pin PCI-E connectors, youll need to purchase another cable as it only includes 1x 6/8-pin on one cable and 2x 6-8pin on the other. Overall, very happy with EVGAs products lately and this unit is no exception.

Wait till you have a problem and get a hold of their tech support. They dont want to help you. They want you to fail. Rather than simply replacing product. Rude Rude and Rude They also require a level of testing that is beyond what the normal customer is capable of.

The only complain I have is about short SATA cables. The overall cables length is alright. But they should be 2-3 longer between 3 device power connectors. I have a large tower, many drives and I had a hard time figuring how to connect them all. Had to move bluray recorder to the lowest shelf to have the connector reach it. Old power supply had connectors spaced out better.

I am very happy with this far better than average well made power supply. I put it in a desktop mid tower case that takes a power supply at the bottom.

Its a 550w power supply, and it works.
