> 24 hourWith me building my first pc, I was very excited. However, I heard of fried mobos from bad psus after I got a $44 one. Not gonna give it away, but it rhymes with herbal cake. This smaller design gives you more room for cable management, and the clear written texts on what cables go where makes this semi modular psu an ease to work with.

> 24 hourIve never bought a computer part that comes with its own mesh bags before. Packaging was nice and heavy duty. Im totally loving the modular design. I bought this to replace the 650watt supply for my Beavis9000 PC, running GeForce motherboard and video cards, along with 2 DVD drives and six hard drives (and 5 case fans). This beast runs it all smoothly, and the power supply fan only comes on during intense gaming stuff (since those fans blow better than a $500 call girl). Takes up the same footprint as my old XION power supply, although I miss the lighted green fan.

> 24 hourEVGA or sometimes corsair have been my long time go to for PSUs. Sure theres higher end super rgbd up models/makers around but The warranty and quality has always been top notch with evga. at $99 it was on sale for this 850w gold+ newest generation EVGA was a no brainer. Id have even paid the full $150 retail.

> 24 hourNeeded to replace a semi-modular PSU that died after 10 years on my secondary PC. Hopefully this fully modular unit fits the bill, and runs quietly without the fan if activating the eco friendly option (which is fine since I dont game or run other intense tasks on this PC), and 550w is more than enough for this rig.
