Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I’m not a streamer I just wanted a fancy ‘quick launch’ button setup for my most used programs/games. The functionality options on this are endless, you can have folders and hot keys for separate programs/games etc. I feel I will never stop adding to this as I keep thinking of new uses. Bought the small one as I just wanted something neat and tidy. If you’re deliberating on buying this and you like shiny new tech for your PC then deliberate no more! Just buy one, it was worth every penny.

First off, I just wish I used this thing more. The ability you have with this for streaming, editing, or just general hot keys is amazing. Unfortunately I don’t use it enough, but for anyone that does any of the above things half way frequent, you’ll come to appreciate the stream deck.

Love this! So handy. Even if you dont play a game, you can hook it up with other things like zoom and your hue lights so that it can be so handy.

Im constantly finding more uses that I initially purchased it for, kind of regret not buying the larger model because more buttons would be useful. The software is very easy to use and doesnt appear to affect performance when the computer is under load (in game and/or streaming).

I use my computer for engraving music using Sibelius and Dorico notation software programs. They are keyboard and mouse intensive, with special key combinations to get specific results, much like many complicated games are. Thankfully NYCMusicServices and the scripts they provide for the StreamDeckXL (and the smaller version) using either Sibelius or Dorico has become much easier and faster. I can see how complicated games would benefit greatly from the use of this. Programming it for specific software isnt for the faint of heart but thankfully there are people who have created such things and have uploaded their scripts for specific games to the Elgato StreamDeck web-site. Others can be bought from 3rd-parties or downloaded from others. Installing the specific scripts is easy and using the StreamDeckXL with various programs is easy. It makes computer life a lot easier for keyboard-intensive programs!

300% worth for streaming, really comfortable

Item works great. Easy setup and integration for twitch streaming. Also nice that you can setup buttons to launch multiple tasks, applications, scripts, etc.... My only complaint is that I wish the stand had a bit more strength to it.
