It is Dyson filter, rather expensive.

Came fast, easy install. Dyson website said it would take weeks to come. Perfect!

Easy to install

I originally purchased a cheaper knockoff of this filter because there were so many of them and they were 1/3 of the price of the Dyson brand filter. The knockoff did not fit securely and would not allow the base to snap into place. I returned the knockoff and purchased the OEM version and it fits as it should--like a glove. Its definitely more expensive, but for a filter that you replace every year, I guess its worth it. My old filter was disgustingly dirty, so definitely dont skip on the yearly maintenance and get the factory-approved version so that you know it works!

This gets the job done. My son has asthma so we started with one hot cool link tower and got a second tower for the house. This is my second filter purchase through amazon. The filter is Dyson brand and matches the style you get when buying the tower. This filter fits the tower with the wider bottom base. This filter is shorter and wide. If you have the tower that is the same width at top and bottom, then you need a different filter, the one that is thinner and taller.

This is truly authentic and a very good price. I am amazed that I got such a good deal for thus filter. Im familiar with Best Buy charging $80 or sometimes lucky to get an authentic one for $60 on ebay. I paid about $40 for this on Amazon. I have to get authentic Dyson filters for proper functionality. Or to function at all.

This put my family at risk during the NYC air crisis. This is not a Dyson manufactured filter. This is dangerous. It weighs substantially less, the weave is different on the inside of the filter, and the fonts and print color of the logos are way off from the original. This did not clean the air in my home, the status remains at “very poor” while using this fake filter. Even with the setting on 10 and being left on for days, the air quality did not improve. Once I switched to a genuine Dyson filter the air quality in my home improved significantly and the sensors in the Dyson rated the air quality as good after running the unit for a short period. DO NOT BUY!

Works excellently in my Dyson fan. No issues at all.

Looks slightly different than the one in this photo. The four dorsal fins are not there. Rubber o-ring seals, as on the original it replaced, are there, and I was pleasantly surprised, albeit a little confused as to why they would list it with the wrong picture, but even the Dyson site has this photo. Huh... Same excellent and quite operation as before. Yes, you get what you pay for with Dyson, but even so, still kinda pricey, hence the 4-star rating.
