I am blown away with how nice this product is. The case is heavy duty with a foam liner. The cable with camera is heavy and looks well made, break proof is what it looks like. The machine has a nice big screen with an LED light and a tf card came with it and is already installed. Anyone that works on vehicles should have one of these. Get this product, you will not regret it. Thank you so much

I ordered this camera because I dropped a thumb drive in a crack between my bathroom vanity and wall. There is a half inch gap that needs trim but alas I have not gotten around to covering it, so this was bound to happen eventually.

The first thing I have to say about this endoscope is it is a bit more rugged and durable then some of the others I have used. While most I have used have a rubber cable with a thin layer of metal in them, leaving it susceptible to cuts to the camera cable or folding in on itself, this one is a thick braded metal on the outside allowing for a bit more sturdiness when pushing the camera through tight spaces.

When I first saw this device, I was reminded of the Snake Camera in the Splinter Cell video games to peek under doors and spy on enemies. But with a fixed focus of 1 to 4 depending on the camera you are using, objects beyond this focal distance become a blur and the captured photos have the resolution of a potato. No, this is not a spy camera. Its advertised as an endoscope/borescope intended to snake into crevices to take CLOSE UP photos of objects. For that purpose, it does exceptionally well.

This is a really nice borescope. It comes with a 5” screen and there are 2 cameras on the cable. The one on the end is 5MP resolution and the one on the side (of the end) is 2MP. One push of a button on the unit switches back and forth between the camera images. The cable is firm but pliable.

The camera quality is amazing on this model. The camera cable is heavy duty and comes in handy with my line of work. This is a must have scope. Way cheaper than snap-on and better quality. Bought my 1 Depstech endoscope a few years ago and got hooked.

I was attracted to this endoscope by the Dual cameras, Hi resolution front facing camera (5 MP), good resolution side camera (2 MP) and 9.8 feet of endoscope cabling. When I received it I was particularly impressed by the ruggedness of the borescope cable. It is rather heavy at 514 grams, and feels very rugged. The gooseneck feature of the borescope makes it possible to deform segments of the cable to squeeze by some obstacles in the path. The connector at the end of the cable is similarly rugged. It is nicely keyed to fit into the mating connector on display unit. The display unit is quite visible in even daylight conditions. The settings are easy to get to and very easy to use. Depstech provides two attachments for the end of the borescope: a hook for grabbing things, and a magnet for snagging magnetic items. I charged the unit when I received it. I have a couple of other borescopes. This one offers the highest resolution forward images at 2560x1920. When you are looking for something down a cavity over 9 feet away from you, that extra resolution really helps! The lower resolution side camera is useful when you need to look to the side of your path of motion. The focal range of the forward camera is 1.18 to 3.15 and for the side camera .79 to 2.36. These focal ranges are fine for most applications. The case offers cushioned protection for the display and borescope cable. The provided 32 GB microSD card means that you can be up and running with this borescope very quickly. The one complaint I would have is the 1.5 length of the camera portion of the snake along with the very stiff gooseneck will make it difficult or impossible to thread the camera through old cast iron drain traps. This is a useful, versatile tool for plumbers and handy persons: 5 stars!
