Needed a dock that would meet the power delivery requirement of 130W for a Dell Precision 5540. This one meets the requirement so no more power adapter warning or performance bottleneck. It came with a 180W power brick with both US and UK power cord ends. I am driving a 4K screen using just the supplied usb-c cable it comes with. Setup took some work as it required a laptop (not dock) BIOS update before the docks usb and ethernet port would work. I also had to install the latest nvidia drivers. Initially the 4K display would only show up as a blank black screen, but when I toggled it once to 1080p then back to 2160 the display worked fine. The 130W power delivery is only for Dell systems. Non-dell systems will receive less power. Two of the USB-C input ports supply power to devices, while the TB USB-C port did not offer power over a usb-c phone cable. I do wish it had another type-A USB3 port on the front in addition to the existing type-A and type-C ports. The use of a usb-C to type-A adapter helped though. Update 3/16: The warranty was 3 years, but the device was registered to another country in Korea so I could not easily use the warranty when the dock stopped supplying power to recharge the laptop.

Definitely not worth the money. I never write reviews but I couldnt help it with something at this price failing so significantly. I run a simple laptop and 1 extra monitor with my phone plugged in to it sometimes...I get a fan error message almost daily after less than a month of use. It works well enough that I keep using it but sometimes the fan never stops running and causes my computer to go into some weird safe mode just due to the fan error code. It goes away but sometimes I have to unplug the whole thing to get the fan to run correctly. It is in a well ventilated area. Very disappointed in Dell on with this one.

Once you download the latest drivers for this dock, its bulletproof! I keep my XPS 15 hidden under my desk, closed. the dock has a its own power button, so when I power down for the day its ready to start up by just pushing the power button on the dock which I keep on my desk out of the way . Ive got two 27 Dell HD monitors. But you are at the mercy of the video card in your laptop will determine monitor capabilities.

No significant issues. Just follow the directions when first using. Laptop needs to have the drivers downloaded before the docking station will function.

Got this so my wife could switch her 2 4K monitors and keyboard/mouse between her work Dell laptop and personal Macbook Air. The hub works perfectly with the Dell running Windows 10 which is why I gave 3 stars. The 2 4K monitors only work in Mirrored mode on the Macbook. After researching extended mode is suppose to work if you plug one monitor into the displayport and the other into the thunderbolt 3 port. Tried this and it still did not work.

Cant tell if this is HDMI 2.0+ or HDMI altogether. Ironic, because it has an HDMI on it. I bought the USB-C version of this (not TB) initially by mistake, not doing my research at first to realize thunderbolt was the better one. The HDMI worked on it just fine. Although it flickered for the first 5 minutes or so upon use, that stopped over time, and started working. I returned that to order this, and now I cant get HDMI output at all. Already checked firmwares and updates, nothing. My HDMI2.0 rated cable works just fine on my TV (not HDMI 2.0) when plugged straight into the laptop, but if intry the dock, no dice. Even tried a DP to HDMI adapter, thinking maybe thatll work, but not at all. The only reason I didnt drop it to one star is by the off chance it does work with an HDMI 2.0 monitor (which I do not own, and therefore cannot test). On the plus side, $250 later and I have a few more USB ports now, and a docked ethernet connection with that. Not like I could get something like that for under $50 or anything...

To clarify, I love this dock after I updated the firmware on it. I was about to return it as when my laptop would go to sleep when connected, nothing would turn back on. After a quick Google search, this was a known issue and updating the firmware on it fix it. Ever since that update, Im able to enjoy my multiple monitor setup, and performance/reliability has been rock solid.

I ordered the WD19TB, but I was sent the WD19TBS. The difference is, the WD19TB cost a little more and it has two 3.5 mm audio jacks. I paid a little more because I wanted the 3.5 mm jacks, the WD19TBS does not have them. Of course I did not notice until I was setting the dock up. Other than that, the dock works great. So far, I have no issues with its performance. Easy to setup and ice design.
