Bought it for my new XPS 15 7590. I was hoping I can connect it to at least 2 of my 3 32 4k monitors @ 60Hz. Now I realized that despite the laptop has a discrete GTX 1650 GPU, the laptop is still using its build in Intel 630 for desktop and hence has limited number of monitors, resolution and refresh rate it can support, the laptops own display counted as one.

The onboard ethernet adapter (Realtek USB GbE Family Controller) becomes effectively disabled at least 3/4 days out of each week. I have to go into the adapter settings and tweak the following attributes EACH time. - Adaptive Link Speed = Enabled - Energy-Efficient Ethernet = Disabled - Green Ethernet = Disabled - Speed & Duplex = 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex (auto-negotiation really should work here) Essentially, the settings revert back to defaults and this is the only fix. Rebooting does not resolve this. Simply clicking Enable does not resolve this. Note that Dell has published a similar issue (Article Number: 000132644) related to Flow Control. My issue is NOT related to this, because, as you can see above, I never have to tweak the Flow Control setting.

To clarify, I love this dock after I updated the firmware on it. I was about to return it as when my laptop would go to sleep when connected, nothing would turn back on. After a quick Google search, this was a known issue and updating the firmware on it fix it. Ever since that update, Im able to enjoy my multiple monitor setup, and performance/reliability has been rock solid.

One of the best docks in the market. Works equally well with HP, Dell and MacBook Pro and even iPad Pro (12”)... If Dell would add SD/MMC card readers this would makes the absolutely best dock.

As a few others have mentioned, I received a WD19TBS (no audio port), not a WD19TB, as the product page says when I placed my order via Amazon Warehouse. It works fine otherwise, though.

I bought one of these for my wifes home office, and the docking station just died and quit working after about a year of use. I got the same model for my home office, and am waiting to see if it does the same for me after some short amount of time. We use the same model at work, and they all seem to perform well there; however, Im still unsure of how well they stand up under normal office environment abuse. Ill report back if anything noteworthy occurs with them...

    1. Duo monitors work with Macbook, but not HDMI + DP, only DP + thunderbolt. Please search the product with Apple USB-C and there is a dell official doc about what are supported. 2. IMPORTANT, before use it with mac, be sure to plug in to a Windows/Linux device and find the newly released firmware. The newest update solves some issues of waking up your mac with bluetooth devices when the dock is used. Almost returned, but 2^ makes it worked seamless with my 2 monitors and bluetooth keyboard/mouse. Only the power button is basically useless. Good enough for me.

I never write reviews but I wanted to warn everyone about this POS. I bought this dock for my Dell 7390 laptop, for which it is recommended. And it mostly works when the computer is plugged in (although it doesnt recognize my Logitech webcam). But for some reason, the dock DOES NOT CHARGE connected devices unless the computer is plugged in. Unplug the Thunderbolt cable from your computer, and your cell phone, earbuds, and anything else connected to the dock stops charging. How dumb is that? It is so dumb that I ordered the same unit as a replacement because I couldnt believe it was the intended function. And they both do the same thing. So in the end, I guess Im dumb. Hopefully this helps you avoid my mistake. After I returned both, I bought the Anker 13-in1 which works like a champ. Save yourself the hassle and just go for a different product.

The docking station works well with the exception that it doesnt allow monitors to be recognized on start up. When the laptop wakes up, rebooted, or started up the monitors are not recognized. I have to unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the monitors and plug back in for them to be recognized. I have now set my sleep mode to 2 hours to avoid having to do this throughout the day. I have bypassed the docking station with a cable and the monitors get recognized as they should. I also have an older docking station at the office that works like it should upon start up.

This is Dells flagship dock and it cant be used within 10 feet of someone trying to concentrate. Or in the cube next to someone trying to concentrate. Mine sounds like a small jet engine taking off. It is literally louder than my 3d printer. When the PC is asleep, the dock still cycles into high speed fan mode regularly, indicating this was a massive fail writing firmware. No excuse for no fix for this, even if it is only 5% percent of the units. Read up elsewhere, this is commonly reported and never fixed. Get it together Dell!
