> 3 dayGot this as I needed a 2nd smaller monitor for my home office. So easy to get setup and it’s perfect. It is a matte finish and did notice more glare from the window- but it’s minimal and was an easy to tilt and resolve.

Greater than one weekGreat 1080P monitor. The colors are very accurate, its very bright and the stand can be adjusted in practically every direction. Overall Id recommend this monitor to anyone considering it.

> 3 dayI bought this for my home office and I love it!! It has great picture quality and is bright. I used to be obsessed with LG monitors but this takes the cake. The fact that it moves up and down and I can rotate it to be vertical is even better. I will be purchasing another one.

Greater than one weekThe monitor works great, but beware of the SHORT power cord that comes standard with this Dell monitor. The power cord is a laughable 3 ft. Assuming you set the monitor at the edge of your desk and your power outlet / surge protector is elevated (not on the floor), youll be fine. Otherwise, this length of a cord will only reach about halfway down the desk. Expect to purchase a replacement power cord that is longer. I have owned many Dell monitors before and the power cords have always been longer than this.

> 3 dayI got this monitor because I have a 25 monitor that already has thin bezel and wanted a 2nd one so I can use dual screen now that Im working from home. And frankly I saw one review that said that this monitor isnt good for business use, if anything, I would say this would be a good monitor for business use actually. Its IPS so if you move around, the colors wont fade or darken unlike VA/TN screens. Its VESA mount compatible so that means you can also use your existing arm mounts if you have any. But more importantly, it for some reason has FreeSync but only up to 75Hz so it wont be great for competitive gaming but this is still very useful in other features like mouse movements and overall smoothness of high refresh rates (possibly good for some folks eyes). Summary: I would recommend this to anyone that seeks to use this for home working. Its easy to hook up and the UI for calibrating colors isnt that bad compared to other manufacturers. Its very consumer friendly is what Id like to say and compared to what I paid a year ago for a more expensive monitor but less features, Id say this is a decent buy if you can get it sub $130-140. Please note that Im reviewing the S2421H(S) so this one doesnt have speakers. The S2421H does have speakers but this one doesnt have VESA mounting. Pros: + 75Hz/ FreeSync (for those with amd graphics crads) + VESA mounting (allows you to use other stands and articulating arms) but the adjustable stand is already sweet in case you didnt want to drop anymore money on a separate stand + IPS (gives me less headaches than TN/VA, viewing angles are great and this one didnt have significant light bleeding too but Ill also add this as a con since thats inherent in all IPS screens unfortunately) + Has DP 1.2 (this is what you need to use in order to get 75Hz though, you wont get this on your HDMI ports) + Audio line out port (so in lieu of speakers, this monitor gives you this instead if you wanted to connect your headphones to this but in this day and age, I dont think most people will use this port) Cons: - IPS panels will bleed light in some capacity and it sucks but Dell has a better panel lottery than other manufactures in my opinion - only HDMI cable included, no DP cable - out of the box, the monitor will need to be calibrated, it was a bit too yellow/orange for my taste so youll need to work on the color science a bit
