This is an okay monitor but a couple things to consider. 1. The obvious, it’s a 1920 x 1080 res.. The screen res just feels too large when performing tasks related to video and music editing. You will feel like you still need more real estate for editing. Consider a higher res monitor that enables you to see more of the timeline. 2. I didn’t know Dell made “economy” level products. In other words, the plastic on this monitor feels cheap and it is. You can easily twist the bezel plastic from the screen - seriously it’s that thin. I didn’t try to do this on purpose, but simply noticed the thin plastic tilting the monitor. 3. This is not a height adjustable monitor. It only offers tilt. With that said, this monitor is too high compared to my other monitors. Image Quality Its decent, bright, colorful, and really not that bad. Text looks good too. I didn’t notice any pixilation with various fonts. Albeit, I only had this monitor for a few days before returning. I’ll explain why I returned this monitor next. Refresh Rate So this is listed as capable of a 75 Mhz refresh rate. We’ll that didn’t happen. I tried a couple different cables to make sure I didn’t have a bad cable, and no it’s not my graphic card. I have a sweet fully loaded MBP that is more than capable of driving a monitor… M1 Max processor, 32 core GPU, 64 Gig memory, and a 4 TB SSD. Conclusion For the price it’s a decent monitor. Just keep in mind the plastic is thin around the bezel, and this is a 1920 x 1080 res monitor and because of this you may feel like you need more real estate when working with video and audio timelines; at this point consider a higher res monitor. I figured I’d give this 1920 x 1080 res monitor a try knowing it was likely not going to work for me. As a result, I returned it because I was looking for a primary replacement monitor. I ended up purchasing a 3840 x 2160 res monitor that is capable of delivering the technical capability I am used to.

The monitors are alright for the price, but this amazon listing is a mess. This has listings for about 4 different monitors, so your mileage may vary for this review. The From the manufacturer section for the 24 inch monitor I purchased has the information for the 32 inch monitor. It advertises 2HDMI inputs and a display port with a 3.5mm audio port as well. However, the monitor I received only has VGA and 1 HDMI, so I had to buy additional adapters to connect to display port. Make sure youre getting the right inputs for your monitor. They are also extremely light, which might be good for some, but for me it wobble as I type at my desk. The stand is also too short for me, but I will probably get some monitor arms to adjust that.

I purchased this monitor when the price dropped to @ $79.99 to upgrade a 17 Dell monitor, connected to my Dell laptop, on my mobile computing cart! I am very happy with the value and quality of the monitor! Easy to set up, and I would recommend this monitor to anyone interested in a reasonably priced 22 monitor!

For about $110 (?) this is a good deal. I use it for work (spreadsheets). It does the job.

Purchased a new Dell tower and the recomended purchased together frequently, new monitor. Only to have to go to the store yesterday to purchase needed cable to attach the monitor to the tower. Simply not pleased.

The monitor arrived with outdated cords. The VGA and HDMI cords that come with the monitor do not fit newer computers so I had to go out and purchase those separately. Purchased the monitor to accompany an HP Hi End VR/VFX Workstation 2022. I shouldve known. LOL. But just in case youre wondering, please purchase proper VGA and HDMI chords separately that will fit the desktop you own.

I use it as external display for my laptop through HDMI. I like it so far. I can still use my own high quality speakers for sound

I need a second screen for my office. I was looking for something inexpensive. This monitor seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. After connected it to my laptop I discovered that it did not have speaker. That was not a big deal I just connected my echo. Voila, speaker.
