We have used this a few times over the summer. Built in speaker is ok as long as not much other noise is around. Picture quality and brightness are great. Had problems playing content and connecting from some newer devices. Overall, satisfied with the projector.

I just got to play with it. So far Im very happy with the picture. However there seems to be some issue with the volume. If I want to hook speakers up thru the projector it just DOES NOT get very loud at all. I really am hoping I can find a way to combat this

This is a pretty good projector. Im very satisfied with it. I get a good picture at 130 inches. Even with the lights on, or in the daytime. I bought a second one for nighttime outdoor movie watching

tried using as a cheap option for my golf simulator, i have a max of 11.6 from the 120 screen to the face of the projector. unfortunately at that distance it looked to be about a 100 display. Ive bought and returned about a dozen cheap projectors off of amazon because either the picture quality was terrible, or the throw ratio wasnt what I needed. This projector had by far the highest picture quality and brightness of all sub $300 projectors Ive tested to date, so I was bummed when i could not get it to work. the 4 direction keystone adjustment is a MUST in my opinion, every other projector I have tried has the 1 manual keystone adjustment, which always means one side (or top and bottom) of the screen has really blurry text. Overall a really nice projector for the money

I really really want to give this projector 5 starts because for the price point it has nice features and a great picture. The overall projector has a beautiful clear image nice and bright even with a some lights on in living room. The Keystone correction is AWESOME! In fact it’s the best Keystone correction we have ever used and I have tried several projectors. However the first day we had the projector a speck/dot showed up almost center of the screen. I carefully wiped the lens with a microfiber cloth but the dot was still projected. It was apparent that the dot was coming from inside. The placement of where we put the projector has been cleaned and dusted so dust should not be the issue (especially after 1 day) We returned that projector and received a new one. (The new projector also has a tiny dot, but it is off to one side and not nearly as noticeable as being center of the screen) we are willing to compromise with a small dot off to the side but hope that it does not get more of them.

As the headline says, this is nowhere close to 9,500lumens. Any claims to the contrary are simply an outright lie. I picked this up for a room with a lot of ambient light, knowing that the brightness claim was going to be a lie, but figured it was worth a shot, especially with a free return through Prime. After getting everything set up I would say it is almost as bright as my 5y/o Epson ex5220 which was rated at 3,000lumens when it was new and probably has 500hrs on the bulb at this point. I knew an 9,500lumen projector for under $300 was too good to be true and it is. If you can get over the misleading brightness claims; overall its a decent cheap projector. The streaming from a device is glitchy, but they all are all. As mentioned in other reviews it has a HDCP, which means youre not going to be able to stream from a service, like Netflix or Disney+ which makes it pretty useless for everything but a presentation. The 4point keystone adjustment is nice, and everything else is tidy and works as expected. If I hadnt been buying it specifically for its brightness Id probably keep it, but cant handle such misleading claims, especially when they are so comically overstated like this one. If youre buying for the brightness stay far, far away, if you need a middle of the road cheap projector this will probably suffice.

It was great, bright, affordable, and good audio. We really liked it as a daily use TV replacement. But within 60 days we noticed the left side started to look yellow. As the weeks went on it got darker and more noticeable. Now it looks like a urine stain on the wall whenever we turn it on. The last projector we got from DB did this too, maybe something to do with the bulb? Maybe we run it too long? But either way it’s too noticeable to use now. If you want this for occasional use then this will last you a long time but for daily use its going to wear out on you in less than a year.

Ive now been using this projector in my living room as my main television for more than 1 year. I primarily watch it using my Roku Streaming Stick, but occasionally use the screen cast feature on my android smartphone. On average, I probably watch TV around 15-21 hours per week, and it seems to have held up very well. I have it mounted on the ceiling in my living room above the coffee table at a distance that yields around a 120 screen. Recently, some faint lines started showing up on the projected image after its been used for around 30 minutes or so. Aside from the faint lines, I have to say that this projector held up pretty, considering the abusing Ive put it through, having watched it consistently for at least 1200-1400 hours in the last 54 weeks or so. (If it werent for the lines showing up, Id have given it 5 stars). The brightness is strong enough for me to watch during the day, although its obviously a little washed out in the brightest light of the sun. The audio quality is okay - its loud enough for indoor use, such that I cant turn the volume past 20-50, depending on the source medium, but outdoors, its not very good. I tried watching this outside in my mothers backyard last summer and we couldnt hear anything clearly. You have options with soundbars or HDMI audio splitters that can redirect the audio to external devices, but that might be a bit too much effort/cost just to watch a movie outdoors and hear it clearly, depending on your circumstances. Overall, its a good product, a great starter / budget-friendly projector, and excellent for an affordable home theater.

This projector performs well above its price range. We use it while camping, and use an Amazon FireStick for media streaming. The internal speaker setup is adequate for us within about a 15’ area, and even project through a screen window sometimes (depending on best placement options for the projector screen). No complaints whatsoever for HD video streaming, and it connects quickly and easily to Wifi networks. The manual keystone feature is very nice for an outdoor/mobile setup, and the easy-adjust focus dial on the front makes setup super easy. We have used this at least 20 times since purchase and are always content/complimented on how clean and crisp the video is. The carry case is very handy and has enough storage to secure the projector, Amazon FireStick, cords/cables and both remotes. If you’re shopping for a projector in this price range, just get this one.

I am not an expert in electronics, but this device was fairly simple to set up to use! I purchased because a friend purchased the exact one recently and she showed me all the great features of this product! For example, the projector can be set up in a discreet area out of the way of the audience viewing a screen. I was amazed how she pulled photos off of her phone to also project on the screen! I used this projector for family photos at a reunion. It will also be useful if I present a program about a historic home (currently on the board) to an organization.
