outstanding picture quality and size but lacking in versatility in sound via the audio jack option, not a real deal breaker but should be noted it needs to be enhanced with an sound system amplifier for the full movie emersion experience.

Same issue with the WiMiUS K1. As a matter of fact, they had the same menu and and distance on my screen. I have a 200in screen/ My projector set on the a counter which is already far from the screen and its only about 120 (maybe) as shown in my pic and I couldnt make a it bigger. Even when I did move it back to make it larger it faded the brightness drasticlly. If you dont need a anything past 120 this is could be a great choice.

This is my 4th try at finding a good sub $300 projector that can be used for home theater and for web browsing. I use my projector to stream movies/tv as well as browse the web (windows pc, hdmi). The other 3 projector brands (also sub $300) worked adequately for movies/tv, but failed miserably at rendering clear and focused text. This was my last try, if unsuccessful I was ready to step up to the over $500 price range. Glad I gave this brand a try. Reason it did not get 5-stars: there is no User setting for contrast, brightness, or picture mode; you have to live with the out-of-the-box image settings.

Good quality for the price so far as I can tell. easy to set up and good connectivity. Decent image. No major issues in the first week Ive had it Update: I use this all the time and it still works great! There are issues though. Most times when I try to play a vhs connected to the audio/video rca cable adapter it often is showing a weak signal warning and not working.... very frustrating because there is a signal until I press play and then it just wont transmit the signal... why???? Also this has a wireless device mirroring function which has such a bad delay between video and sound feed and the video feed is so jumpy that it is basically unusable. This projector has been great when connected with the hdmi, I have speakers connected through the headphone jack. Not worth buying if you plan to use it in other ways.

This lense is bright enough for a descent picture in the day time and very vivid and crisp at night. Great picture quality and sound. The setup is so easy and quick and the overall fan sound is quieter than most other products. This projector even comes with a travel case and is a nice portable size

I needed a brighter projector so I thought I would give this one a try. It is a lot brighter and now we dont have to wait until it gets dark outside to watch a movie. I like the wifi bluetooth and screen cast. So far this was a good buy.

For the price you pay, the picture quality is not bad, it is certainly bright enough as a home projector. However, we have been using this since early October 2021 and after Christmas we started to notice a brown spot appearing in the projection. It is now April 2022 and you can see the result in the picture attached. We are hoping our warranty will help us replace the machine, but so far we have not heard back from DBPower.

A big issue I had with a cheaper projector was that I couldnt adjust both the tilt and the sizing, and both are necessary if you want to place the unit at a very specific spot and project onto a specific space. To elaborate: if you must aim the lens up or down, the projection needs to account for the tilt; if you move the projector far away, the projection naturally blows up and you have to scale it down. The DBPower gives you clear control over both in the settings - it calls the tilt keystone and the sizing zoom. I was pleasantly surprised by the software including every permutation of keystone adjustment. Theres one screw-foot that lets you mechanically raise the angle, and its quick to use. I want to take a moment to appreciate the fabric covering on top of the projector - its a gorgeous, satisfying design that makes you want to place your phone on it as you Miracast onto the screen. The LED is bright enough to project during the day, though you probably shouldnt - see the wash-out above and below the dresser in the pics. Audio is good in a pinch, but if you make this device the center of your media hub, youll obviously want to use the AV out or separate the audio; there is an RCA to 3.5mm cable included, but its extremely short, so Im not sure if its useful. There is some ambient noise from the fans as you would expect, comparable to a hard-working gaming laptop. The focus adjustment wheel feels great. The unit is hefty, so good build quality and no wobble. All in all, the product nails the basics. Miracast is nice to have, since in a pinch you can skip the HDMI cable. I think the aesthetics are great. It blows the cheap projector I had out of the water.

The picture is very good. Not great but for the money…good. The fan is loud though. If using in a media room you can definitely hear it and it takes away from the experience.

I was on the lookout for an inexpensive, top-of-the-line projector for my basement. This projector fits the bill, it is not very pricey like the one which we have today Epson 730HD (600$). I kind of became allergic to any kind of pricey gadgets which become obsolete in a matter of few years, be it phones, laptops, or projectors. Any repair or replacement with those units is a kind of pain. Another big differentiator with this unit is it has a Wi-Fi connection which is a must for hanging it to the ceiling without wires. It easily connects to your Smartphones be it Apple or Android, there is no hassle of any wires or adapters here. I am kind of sold on these 2 points. Above all this unit has 8500 Lumens Brightness compare to 3000 Lumens with 730HD, 1920*1080P resolutions compare to 1280*720p on our Epson. I am pretty impressed with the color brightness and image clarity it produces compared to our expensive Epson unit. I am also impressed with the speakers on the unit, it boasts about built-in dual stereo speakers (5W) with an SRS sound system, which is completely non-existent on the Epson. I had to always connect the Epson to my external speakers without which we cannot watch any movie or a game. The sound quality on this unit is a bonus which I was not looking for. This unit gives a complete home-theater experience without a big dent in your pocket. I am yet to hang it to our ceiling in our basement, however, it won’t be a big issue, this unit is comparatively very compact and light-in-weight and shall go there without any hassles.
