This is a quality product for the price point. I have had other projects and the sound and picture quality is great.

I would have been thrilled if it was a 4K video projector of equivalent quality and same price but we aren’t living in the year 2025 yet so this is a fair compromise. The unit I received performed exactly according to the specifications listed. I found that I was in fact able to project movies onto my vaulted livingroom ceiling using this unit, which was something I’ve secretly wanted for over 25 years. I may take this on the road for use in a group presentation soon. I think it will work well for that.

I just got to play with it. So far Im very happy with the picture. However there seems to be some issue with the volume. If I want to hook speakers up thru the projector it just DOES NOT get very loud at all. I really am hoping I can find a way to combat this

Got this projector for my classroom. I was looking for one that would still give a good picture even in a brighter room and this has been perfect! Ive been trying it out at home and loving it. It has Excellent sound quality and really good video quality. Can get a bit patchy when using it in screen mirroring mode. Overall this is an excellent product and im very very pleased with it

I ordered this projector so we could do movie nights in our neighborhood and let the kids enjoy some time together. My son and I set it up immediately to test it out in the space we are going to use. We were impressed by the clarity and definition. We easily hooked up a soundbar as the space was big and needed a little extra sound than what the speaker provided but the internal speaker was very good also. We are excited to have our first movie night for the kids in the next month.

Really expected this to be brighter. i have it in a 20 x 40 building with 12 high ceilings with only diffuse light coming in and this is not bright enough. The room needs to be dark or you need to be close (e.g. within about 10 of the wall, so that the image is about a 65 TV size) for it to be bright enough. Probably ok for presentations as long as the font is not too small, or movies but try and use it to show computer terminal screens? Forget it.

We have used this projector for 1 1/2 years last night it died on us, wouldn’t turn on no matter what we tried. I contacted DBPOWER directly explaining the issue and after sending a video they agreed it was a problem with the projector and will send us new one! Not to mention the projector itself has great sound and picture quality. Highly recommend this product especially due to the high quality of customer service and product capability.

I needed a brighter projector so I thought I would give this one a try. It is a lot brighter and now we dont have to wait until it gets dark outside to watch a movie. I like the wifi bluetooth and screen cast. So far this was a good buy.

I was on the lookout for an inexpensive, top-of-the-line projector for my basement. This projector fits the bill, it is not very pricey like the one which we have today Epson 730HD (600$). I kind of became allergic to any kind of pricey gadgets which become obsolete in a matter of few years, be it phones, laptops, or projectors. Any repair or replacement with those units is a kind of pain. Another big differentiator with this unit is it has a Wi-Fi connection which is a must for hanging it to the ceiling without wires. It easily connects to your Smartphones be it Apple or Android, there is no hassle of any wires or adapters here. I am kind of sold on these 2 points. Above all this unit has 8500 Lumens Brightness compare to 3000 Lumens with 730HD, 1920*1080P resolutions compare to 1280*720p on our Epson. I am pretty impressed with the color brightness and image clarity it produces compared to our expensive Epson unit. I am also impressed with the speakers on the unit, it boasts about built-in dual stereo speakers (5W) with an SRS sound system, which is completely non-existent on the Epson. I had to always connect the Epson to my external speakers without which we cannot watch any movie or a game. The sound quality on this unit is a bonus which I was not looking for. This unit gives a complete home-theater experience without a big dent in your pocket. I am yet to hang it to our ceiling in our basement, however, it won’t be a big issue, this unit is comparatively very compact and light-in-weight and shall go there without any hassles.

As the headline says, this is nowhere close to 9,500lumens. Any claims to the contrary are simply an outright lie. I picked this up for a room with a lot of ambient light, knowing that the brightness claim was going to be a lie, but figured it was worth a shot, especially with a free return through Prime. After getting everything set up I would say it is almost as bright as my 5y/o Epson ex5220 which was rated at 3,000lumens when it was new and probably has 500hrs on the bulb at this point. I knew an 9,500lumen projector for under $300 was too good to be true and it is. If you can get over the misleading brightness claims; overall its a decent cheap projector. The streaming from a device is glitchy, but they all are all. As mentioned in other reviews it has a HDCP, which means youre not going to be able to stream from a service, like Netflix or Disney+ which makes it pretty useless for everything but a presentation. The 4point keystone adjustment is nice, and everything else is tidy and works as expected. If I hadnt been buying it specifically for its brightness Id probably keep it, but cant handle such misleading claims, especially when they are so comically overstated like this one. If youre buying for the brightness stay far, far away, if you need a middle of the road cheap projector this will probably suffice.
