This stabilizer is definitely strong but very soft to the touch. It holds up to my pulling to tighten it in the hoop well without any ripping. I can reposition the hoop to embroider more items in the same go and I had zero problems. When it comes time, I will be ordering this again. Its wonderful!

I usually use the tear away stabilizer, but so.e of my larger embroidery designs cause puckering... itsjust not enough. This works great - the design lays out flat & no decernable puckering. For some face coverings/masks I leave it intact (dont trim it around the design). It gives a bit more structure and adds an additional layer of fabric (may be nice for winter). Overall, this works great & isnt hard to get seated in the hoop (not too thick)

Im fairly new to machine embroidery, but this stabilizer was the difference between a puckered, unusable t-shirt using tear away stabilizer and a crisp, smooth t-shirt using a similar design with this cut away. So happy with the results!

Most of the precut stabilizers are small to the size of the hoop if you are not careful about how much bigger it actually needs to be to be caught by the holding edge of the hoop. This one is big enough for most size and you can cut as mallow as you want. This way I waste very little amount regardless of hoop size I use. This is working perfectly for my Janome S9 hoop sizes I needed. Very happy with the purchase!

Update: The company contacted me and sent me a new batch of stabilizer. This batch stitched out perfectly with zero thread breaks! The issue has been fixed! I thought the sturdiness was fine however like someone else posted (came searching the bad review after having a TON OF ISSUES) it gums up the needles on my machine and the thread breaks about every 30 seconds using this stabilizer!! Don’t do it!!

I have been going through a lot of stabilizer lately, as I am preparing for a craft show. This has been the perfect size and weight for ALL of my projects. I always keep a spare one in my room.

These look to be great but they did not fit my hoops, I ordered the wrong size so I had to return them

This is the 2nd package of this product Ive purchased. I like it better for cotton shirts, I did some heavy designs with one sheet of stabilizer and had absolutely no problem. I had some slight puckering on T shirts, but was doing pretty heavy designs, when I used two sheets it solved the problem. I used it for both appliqué and filled embroidery, human and doll clothes.

I purchased this to make filters for my masks. I had been using a different kind previously, that I really liked, so I was hesitant to try this one. I love it! It is the perfect amount of stability that I was looking for. Not too heavy or light weight. I really felt the value for the money was great too. So glad I found this, so I can continue to donate masks to those in need.
