After 7 hours of trying to get Adonis to work, i had nearly completely given up on swapping in this hard drive. Turns out the software was to blame the entire time. I downloaded macrius and within an hour the entire process was done.

Crucial BX500 is a 2.5-inch SATA drive designed for budget-conscious customers, although it isnt even close to being one of the best SSDs. Its difficult to recommend when there are so many excellent things available for the same cost.

My old PC was getting too slow to be of use. Got this SSD, got some free cloning software, plugged it in, left it 30 minutes and the PC is transformed! Super simple upgrade. PC is now silent and fast. You will need a mounting kit if your PC does not have dedicated bays but you can get a kit with cables for about a fiver.

was in a Macbook Pro. stopped working less than a year from purchase. will go with an OWC drive... those are twice as much but have been working for years for me.
