This did what it was supposed to. The laptop I out this in was only rated, on the box, for 8gb max. But I saw other users were able to use this particular stick and it would read and use the 16. It does. No issues. Realistically this is not going to make your pos laptop a gaming laptop, but if youre jumping from 4 to 16 then you will notice a difference.

Buen producto. Depende del acceso que tengas para llegar a la ranura del SIM pero ya ahí es sencillo instalarla. Al principio creí que no la reconocería mi laptop porque la instale y no encendió. La quite he instalé una actualización de la bios y volví a instalar y la reconoció sin problemas. Muy importante quitar o desconectar la batería de la laptop antes de instalar ya que la primera ve que lo hice le saltaron unas chispas ⚡️ lo cual me asusto creí que ya había dañado la memoria o peor aún que había dañado la placa madre. Buen producto costo beneficio. Ideal para laptops de entrada de bajo costo que he visto que otras que por llegar a tener una capacidad de memoria de 16 GB y algún disco SSD de fábrica elevan mucho su precio. Y poderlas conseguir e instalar por separado llega a ser una fracción del costo. Muy buena la capacidad para trabajar con el navegador chrome que consume muchos recursos de RAM. Ahora ya puedo tener varias pestañas abiertas a la vez y ya no hace tanto uso del disco duro para guardar las aplicaciones. No hace más rápida la computadora ya que eso depende más del procesador y del disco ssd. Pero si ayuda a que los programas sean más óptimos.

I dont usually write reviews, in fact this is the first one ever on Amazon, and I have purchased a Lot of Products. I received this RAM and it kept crashing my computer. Ive used crucial in the past and it has always performed great. I was disappointed and just put this RAM aside for a few months. Then I finally contacted the company, and not only did the Tech help me troubleshoot the problem but he also shipped out a new stick of RAM the very next day. And that is why this product receives a 5 Star Review. Great product, and Awesome Customer service-- which is a pretty rare combination.

I contemplated if I needed to increase my iMac from the standard 8GB to this dual pack of the 16GB Crucial memory stick or instead upgrade the hard drive to SSD. Im so glad I choose to upgrade the memory. After installing these two 16GB sticks to replace the Apply pre-installed memory sticks, my iMac has been speedier than ever and I no longer have to worry about closing my Adobe products when working on multiple projects/tasks. The installation was VERY easy as there is an access panel on the back of the iMac so you dont have to deal with releasing adhesives or taking apart the display. These memory sticks work excellent for multi-tasking on your computer and I have noticed great improvement when rendering video projects. I would buy again from this seller. Very quick shipping and item exactly as described. Thank you!

If it wasnt for Crucials excellent recommendation tool I would never know what kind of RAM to buy. This works flawlessly on my Dell Laptop. No complaints. Installation is easy but honestly, that depends on your laptop and how many screws you need to remove. My advice though is always to go for the maximum memory you can afford. Saves you money in the long run vs buying less and then having to replace it all during upgrades.
