This is so handy for cutting and checking the width of 2 1/2 inch strips. The ruler doesnt slip when pressure is being applied. I like using it.

I use this ruler for most sewing. I sew handbags & use this for measuring the placement of hardware, stitches, marking. The thickness makes it nicer to handle. The 1/2 marking is important for leather, vinyl & fabric strips that I have to cut. The thickness of this ruler is the biggest plus for me.

This is a terrific ruler but I am so disappointed that the measurements only go one way. I want to see the 1 starting at the top (too) on the right, not just at the bottom. I am right handed and want the ruler to the left and rotary cutter on right. So, I have to measure from the bottom, up. Other than that it is a fabulous ruler, love the way it grips the fabric.

This is the perfect ruler for quilting.
