Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15)

I built a Ryzen build recently and this was the memory I picked. I had one of these sticks of memory already and it worked fine.

first set I ordered was fine. second set had a bad ram stick. but they were not even the same. One set was Hynix and the other set was Samsung. One set was dual rank and the other set was single rank. so I basically ordered the same thing twice and got 2 different things and one of them didnt work right. I switched to Crucial because it is made by Micron Technology which is one of the best ram manufacturers in the world and they are consistent

I originally purchased this ram for an intel build, but after my order got botched by the local post office I reorder my pc parts and switched to an AMD 3900x w/x570 Aorus Master. Everything is working fine. Default speed was set to 2100 MHz, I used XMP to clock to 3200 MHz. No stability issues so far.

Great memory for a great price. Only gripe with it was that I had to go into BIOS before installing it to set my memory to a clock speed lower than 3000. Weird, but not insurmountable. Works well in my Ryzen 2600, MSi B450 Tomahawk build.

Fácil de instalar, buen rendimiento

Bought this 32GB Kit for my Gaming PC/Hackintosh Build. Everything seemed to work fine, sometimes programs crashed, but i thought it would have to do with my configuration or the BIOS or anything else. After i couldnt figure out what was going on, I invested in a hardware tester program (TechTool Pro 9 for OSX). Turns out one of the Memmory moduls is faulty. I t doesnt even pass the first test. The second one runs fine... Not a big Deal i thought, I just contact the vendor and ask for a replacement... Here comes the thing: On April 5th the RAM was delivered. I discovered the faulty RAM on June 5th. The order gives me these infos when trying to contact for return or support:

Works great, but unfortunately I cant get it to run at 2666MHz with my Ryzen 1700 CPU; Kingston HyperX, which costs about the same, worked just fine at 2666MHz, so that might be a better choice for Ryzen users.

Great memory, very slim but very nice.
