Works great but 16GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM still doesnt make my MacBook Pro (2013) run like Speedy Gonzalez. Even with an SSD upgrade, some apps (like Chrome) still bog it down enough to freeze while the little pinwheel twirls around for a few too many seconds before it catches up.

Fits righ away without any configuration on my Imac 27 -2012.

I was worried that this would not work in my 2012 mac book pro 15 (non-Retina display) . It works great right out of the box!! pulled up my system and saw that it reconized 16GiGs of Ram Sweet!!! Yes i would buy this open box of ram again for 100 bucks if I needed ram.

I purchased this Corsair RAM to install in a refurbished Dell E6420 Latitude Laptop that I purchased recently. I took off the bottom cover, (there are visual instructions all over the Internet on how to do this), and took out 2 x 2 GB RAM modules, (that were mismatched), and installed the Corsair RAM. The laptop booted right up, and even ran at 800 Mhz on the Intel QM67 chipset, with an Intel i5-2410 Sandy Bridge CPU. Not long after, I decided to update the laptop BIOS, and the RAM dropped to a 667 Mhz. speed, but I am still glad I purchased this RAM.

This is a premium install and a really easy way to significantly improve performance. My computer changed so much it is like working on a different computer altogether. The fan used to run constantly, now it rarely comes on. Programs instantly open! I replaced the 8mb RAM in a Dell Inspiron with this 16mb duo and could not be happier with the results.
