> 24 hourThe first thing that sets this power supply apart from others is the heavyweight metal housing, and the tough black powder coating. OEM and budget power supplies come housed in flimsy metal, so CORSAIR has an immediate advantage in the visual and tactile quality test. Looks and feel arent everything, but theyre a good start. Also, by personal choice, I am a big fan of the clean black appearance with only white for labeling, and the all-black cables included. It really adds to the look of a finished build; gone are the rainbow cables from the past.

> 24 hourMy last PS was a Corsair 620 watt semi-modular bronze unit. It still lives, and powers my grandsons new build. This new PS is ghostly silent. I now have a box of spare power connectors, but any expansion will probably require different ones than those supplied. Not much information included with Power Supply, so I must guess what MoBo and modules require, supplied from which plug?

> 24 hourI usually try my best NOT to gravitate towards corsair, but when my power supply in which I THOUGHT was great due to being from one of the BEST in the market pretty much DIED, I needed something ASAP.

> 24 hourThis is my first Corsair PSU and I have to say I am really disappointed. I usually go with EVGA but this PSU had stellar reviews and was a decent price so I took a risk. Ive had no problems with power delivery or noise but my main issue is with the cables. They are insanely cheap looking and feel cheap as well. Ive had multiple EVGA PSUs with nice and clean looking braided cables but these cables are messy and cheap. I have a 2080ti so I had to use 2 6+2 pin connectors to power it. The only cables this thing came with is a 6+2 cable that splits into 2 cables(Do not do this for a power hungry card it is a fire hazard) and a 6+2 cable that splits in to 3. What? My last PSU had multiple 1 to 1 6+2 cables so not sure what the reason for it is. Considering ive had no problems with it otherwise, Ill give it 4 stars. Just give us better cables Corsair!
