After installing this power it did not work.

Some thick power cables that go from the power supply to the motherboard have wire mesh sheathing, and where the sheathings end, there are what seems to be thick heat shrink tubes to hold the ends. These tubes are so hard that the cables dont bend at all on the tubes, which can be a serious problem in routing cables inside the computer case. Also because of this inflexibility, it puts a lot more stress on the connectors on the motherboard.

Was slightly worried I might get some coil whine, but after install, the thing is dead silent. I can only hear the ticking of my WD Red Pro drives at idle when I press my ear next to the case, and my AVR hum 10 feet away is louder. Had to replace my 5 year old Cooler Master because the fan started making a slight ramping up and down RPM noise that was driving me crazy. Glad I found this PSU, although i wish they had a semi passive around 300 watts as well, as this is in my HTPC.

Runs my i9 9900k (which needs 2 8-pin cpu connections) and a RTX 2080 with plenty of power to spare. I never hear the fan run.

This power supply has great features and power. The cable system allows you to only have the cables you need connected allowing more flow into your system and a cleaner design. I am amazed how quite the power supply is overall. The included cables are high quality and functional. I would recommend this power supply to anyone.

Dead on arrival (box slightly damaged). Turned into a 5 hour project trying to figure out why my computer wouldn’t turn on, ended up frying my SSD card on accident messing with it. Really unfortunate and will just be returning.

I am absolutely livid with this piece of junk i ordered this stupid psu and installed it and everything was working fine but guess what i was stuck in bios couldnt enter windows. I come home to trouble shoot my pc one again after spending probably like 8 hours trying to fix it to find out this psu fried every component of my computer almost. So now im struggling with my pc and have to blow 1900 dollars on a new one what a ripoff and all because of corsairs piece of trash 1 stars wont be buying again it was terrible.

Great PSU. Nice aesthetic and build quality. Fully modular is always best. Will update if/when it dies.
