I bought this as a gift for my son and it didn’t come with the charging batteries. He was so upset. Please make sure you have the batteries in it

Kudos to the manufacturer for making a superbly designed and executed product. Im fond of the saying, make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot! Well, thats where I come in. Try as I did to screw up the battery polarity, the design and directions make it impossible. The battery covers are molded to precise tolerances and snapped into place with satisfying clicks. Due to space constraints, I was forced to park the unit in a nano-sized spot between the wall of my home theater cabinet and receiver, with very little headroom to reach in with my hand. This dock makes that easy. Its not a magnetic connection between the battery covers and contact points, but the ergonomics and connections still feel perfect. Whether its the rear or front slot, the controllers always dock and un-dock effortlessly. The LEDs are big, bright and intuitive -- easily seen by my tired old eyes from twelve feet away. Another bonus is the quality rubber feet on the bottom of the unit. Every other dock (most recently the Razer / Controller Gear magnetic) has slid into the cabinet if bumped even the slightest bit when docking, forcing me to use a second hand to hold it in place (a Cadillac problem for sure, but tedious nonetheless!!) Not so with this dock; the feet keep the unit from retreating every time. I highly recommend this accessory (even though I have yet to put the batteries through their paces). Happy gaming!

I had a PowerA charger for my XB One, and it worked. Mostly. Very jenky when it came to the controller making contact to the base, however. Lots of blinking, indicating insufficient contact. Just got tired of it.

product doesnt work as advertised work as advertised. Have to figit with it everyday a bit to get it to charge some times I also have to take the back off the controller for charging. But that being said it charges and the battery life is lengthy. Would recommend trying another brand do to it not charging as advertised. To much frustration trying to get it to charge the controller. They give new battery doors to the controller that have little slits cut in them for the charging prongs to go through but I believe theyre to thick or something...try another brand

We have an Xbox that my son plays a lot. We wanted to get one of these rechargeable battery stands, thinking it would make it quick and easy to keep the controllers charged. And it works! The batteries have a good amount of battery life before needing recharged. And having the battery pack with the custom battery cover makes it super easy. As long as you remember to put the controllers back on the charging stand when not in use, youll always have a charged controller when you go to play. Pretty cool accessory to have and definitely recommended
