> 24 hourBought this for work related activities in the new WFH atmosphere. I dont tend to NEED two screens but was in a period where two screens was going to be a game changer. I wasnt going to need this every day, so a traditional second screen was not at the top of my list. The screen was easy to set up and best of all, easy to put away. It folds flat and comes with a decent protective cover. A good investment that fit my environmental conditions. I took off a star because I would have LOVED if it was touchscreen. UPDATE: Another great feature if the size of the screen which allows for two nearly full size docs to be viewed side by side. And a nice benefit of this item is that it does come with a free upgraded accessory, a huge bonus.

> 24 hourI recently ordered the Cocopar 17 inch portable monitor, and I couldn’t be more delighted. I have been working at home for the past three months thanks to Covid-19, and I have been trying to work on a 14 inch laptop. It has driven me nearly mad. In addition, my desk is the kitchen table, so getting a full-sized regular monitor wouldn’t have been helpful. (I have to pack my “office” away when it is time for my kids to eat dinner!) This monitor is exactly what I needed. It is big. It is clear. It was easy to put together. The cover makes for a great stand. It is simply wonderful. My computer is a few years old, so it didn’t have the thunderbolt connector, which means I have to plug it into a wall or a Halo or something. But I can live with that until I arrange for a more an adaptor or something. As a bonus, it even came with two screen protectors. You have no idea how nice it is to sit on my back deck and work away on both of these monitors, and be able to pack it all up at suppertime!

> 24 hourIf youre looking for a monitor thats light and portable, this is for you. Many types of input sources, comes with carrying case (though a bit flimsy), and good set of menu options to optimize the picture and audio.

> 24 hourI have not spent a lot of time with this product yet, but my initial impressions are extremely positive. I will update this review if anything changes over my first few months of ownership. Cocopar appears to have really high quality customer service, so Im encouraged by that. If all goes well, I may consider buying a second one. I purchased this monitor as a companion to my 15.6 laptop for when Im traveling. Current pros: Feels substantial and high quality while still being fairly light and compact, high brightness, thin bezel makes it more portable, screen itself is really nice with no issues at first glance, and Cocopar provides a bunch of different cords and connections and screen protectors in the box. Cons: Nothing so far with the monitor itself. A couple things worth noting: It is still a 17 monitor, so make sure you have a laptop bag or backpack that can fit it. And because of its thin build, it probably needs to be treated extremely carefully.

> 24 hourI purchased the Cocopar portable monitor after seeing my friend use it remote work. I love that it is relatively lightweight and thin yet still sturdy - very easy to take with me anywhere. Great video quality and have zero issues connecting the monitor to my computer (via USB C cord). My old portable monitors typically ran into connectivity issues, where I would waste a lot of time making sure the cords were situated “just right” for the monitor to work. I was also very impressed with the customer service. Their customer service reps are very responsive and signed me up for the 3 year warranty program within ~24 hrs of me emailing them.

> 24 hourIm really liking this monitor. Im using it as a third screen (portrait orientation) for my desktop setup, but I choose it as I will also use it as a second monitor for my laptop in any traveling situation. Working on more than one monitor is a game changer especially when it comes to working multiple office tools at once. This monitor is crisp, very bright when you have it turned up (almost as much as I have my desktop monitor set at) and I like that you can easily adjust the orientation... Portrait works nice as I put outlook on it throughout the day to monitor inbound email traffic, and it stays off my main working screen. I have it mounted on an extension arm via the vesa mount. Its really light. And the leather folding case has some impressively strong magnets that let you angle it well for mobile work as an extended laptop monitor. I havent used it for gaming so I cant speak to the frame rate or if theres any tearing at fast paced, but videos play very smooth and theres no lag thats noticable to me. Even has built in speakers, though they arent great. I wasnt a fan of it using it to push a phone or tablet screen too... With the sizing of the screen it really just didnt make much difference and dont expect your phone to be able to Power the monitor, it just doesnt supply enough power - and I couldnt get the screen to be any brighter than the dimmest setting... Which is really dim. Too dim to even want to use it. The biggest drawback of it is that if you unplug it, it loses its settings... Brightness ect, and you have to set it back up. Im my desktop config that isnt an issue unless the power goes off as it just goes into a sleep mode, which keeps the settings. But in a mobile situation is have to change the settings each time I set it up - will be kind of annoying. Otherwise, its am excellent monitor especially for the price I paid. ~200

> 24 hourI work from home on a large 27 monitor. When I travel, I just cant get anything done on my tiny 14 laptop screen. Theres just not enough screen real estate. I waste valuable time scrolling around documents or switching between apps that would have been side-by-side at home. Just not productive. I even got to the point where I started traveling with my 27 monitor! It barely fits inside a large suitcase, and sandwiching it between two pillows provided relative protection from airline abuse. However, it did mean that I had to check a bag, not to mention hauling two suitcases everywhere I went. After only two trips, I knew that method was not sustainable. This portable monitor is the perfect solution! Its large enough to give full 1920x1080 resolution but still small and thin enough to be portable. It fits perfectly in the middle of a carry-on suitcase, with clothes on either side to protect it. I tried putting it in the laptop sleeve of my backpack, but it was slightly too long to fit. Youll need a larger backpack if you want the zipper to close. Even then, Id probably still recommend putting it in your suitcase, as its rather heavy. Carrying a laptop and this monitor on your back would put a lot of strain on your shoulders. Functionality couldnt be easier. I just used one of the two included USB-C cables to connect it to my laptop, and bam! There was my Windows desktop. No extra configuration or fussing with settings. By default, Windows recognizes the new monitor as an extension to your desktop, which most people probably want. Personally, I prefer to keep my laptop closed and use the external monitor as the sole display (with an external mouse and keyboard), which is an easy change in Windows Settings. Speaking of the included cables, I could not be more impressed with their quality! All three included cables (two USB-C and one HDMI) were very high quality, not the trash that most companies include just to say they provided a cable. I have a feeling these will last a very long time. While I bought this for productivity on the road, I was surprised to discover bonus functionality: it connects to my phone and mirrors the screen! Now when Im done working, I can watch movies on the big screen without squinting at my tiny phone. I used to bring my tablet along for movies, but this screen is just so much bigger than even a 12.9 iPad Pro. Connectivity to an Android device is just as easy as connecting to a laptop: just use the same USB-C cable, and its plug & play. Apple users will need a lightning-to-USB-C converter, which Cocopar does not include in the package but will send for free upon request. Which brings me to the only drawback Ive found so far: the speakers. They are just terrible. You have to turn up the monitors volume control all the way and then your devices volume almost all the way just to make them audible. These speakers are fine when working (I just need them for standard Windows audio feedback like e-mail and IM alerts), but they are abysmal for movies. Its very incongruous to have a big, beautiful picture with awful, tinny sound. You can solve this by connecting headphones or an external Bluetooth speaker to your device, but you shouldnt have to do that. Ive deducted a full star for the speakers. I was going to deduct two — theyre that bad — but I love everything else about this device so much that I talked myself into a 4-star rating.

> 24 hourThis display works great! I use it with Windows 11 PRO on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3. I could not run the monitor from the USB-C port. I had to use the supplied HDMI cable. I can power the monitor from the supplied USB-C cable connected to the laptop. But I noticed that the laptop would only charge to about 95% so I am using the supplied USB power adaptor instead. Customer service was fantastic. I wish all the vendors I deal with could learn from them.

> 24 hourI’m very pleased with this monitor. It’s so lightweight but has a large screen and is very versatile. Great second monitor for my home office as well as to easily take on the road!
