> 3 dayI really like these needles. They work pretty well. One of them did break as I was using it (I have a firm grip) but there are plenty of needles and the one I am using now as not broken after a lot of use. The needles are not very blunt and can penetrate the skin but as long as you are careful you should be fine.

> 3 dayThese needles are good except when I tried to use a 6 strand, it was difficult to fit it through the eye. Pen for reference on how big they are.

> 3 dayI made an oops! LOL at me! - I did - For some reason, I thought I was ordering darning needles, not embroidery needles. I think I was half asleep when I put the order in. But, now at least I have SOME sewing needles to work with on my smaller projects...

> 3 dayI have always felt that Clover sewing and quilting tools from Japan were the highest quality. So when I needed more needles for my redwork embroidery and my Big Stitch hand quilting, I chose Clovers Gold-Eye Embroidery Needles in the sizes 3-9 package. The gold on the eye makes the needle easier to see to pick it up and to thread it. The shape and size of the eye also enhances the threading. It is perfect for the often larger threads used in Big Stitch quilting. I have used size 8 perle cotton threads, 10wt. crochet threads, 12 wt. Sulky threads, 30wt. cotton threads, all with relative ease in these needles. The package comes with multiple sizes so you can choose which one your thread requires. The interior of the eye is well polished so that the thread does not shred while using the needle. And I cant remember ever bending a Clover embroidery needle as I worked. As a quilting teacher, I recommend these Clover Embroidery needles to all my embroidery/Big Stitch hand quilting students.

> 3 dayI love these needles for hand quilting. Still managed to break a few, but they’re very sharp and sturdier than others I have.
