I had gone overkill with the ethernet layout. Im using a business class ethernet switch in a home setting. But boy oh boy am I glad I got it. I checked other reviews out before buying. And from recollection, they were mostly, if not, all positive.

Great Cisco quality and works as expected.

While this switch is overkill for most peoples home use, it suited me perfectly. I had outgrown my 8-port (cheap) switch and decided to replace it with something that will last.

Purchased this switch for my structured wire panel. I needed a compact, unpowered device that could still supply the gigabit speed requirements of my system. It comes with removable ears to rack mount, cutouts on the bottom to hang in a cabinet, or rubber feet for tabletop. The switch appears to be well constructed and includes a lengthy warranty and great customer service. It has been trouble free since I placed it in service so I’m a satisfied customer.

Just took it out of the box, plugged it and connected all existing LAN cables. It worked right away.

The unit look well made, but it was the wromg unit for my needs.
