CIOKS DC7 7 Isolated DC Outlets Power Supply

Exactly as advertised. It is quiet, well-built, and delivers. The cables supplied are appreciated though they do not supply cables, 8800 or 1002, that split or join. I had to order them from Sweetwater.com. Not expensive, just another task before getting things setup right. In all, a really nice product and I definitely recommend.

Ive been playing guitar for over 20 years. Ive gone through nearly every power supply known to man. Im pretty sold on Strymons Zuma and Ojai stuff, but I wanted to build a smaller 12x18 board (compared to my normal 18x32) board to reduce my footprint a bit. I also wanted to build something that I could take up to my newborns room to lull him to sleep. The Zuma was way too big to fit under the board, so I decided to give the DC7 a try. While Im not particularly fond of the RCA jacks for the power on the DC7 side, this power supply provides tons of power. You can power almost anything with it without having to worry about is this the 300mA output or the 100mA output? Compared to the Strymon stuff, its built like a tank too. Im not getting rid of my Zuma and Ojais on my big board, but the DC7 (also paired with a DC4 - it expands!) does the trick for small spaces with big power demands. Dont cheap out on a power supply - pick one of these bad boys up, stop worrying about power concerns, and get to playing.

I upgraded from the DC5 to the DC7 because I got a Kingsley pedal that required 500ma. The DC7 is an awesome power supply, with 7 isolated outputs at 9v/660ma you can power a lot of pedals. There are also other configurations available on every output with the switches. Super versatile in what it can do. And it fits under my Pedaltrain Metro 16 with room to spare. Just a great product. Will see how it does in terms of durability. My DC5 is still going strong after years of gigging, I expect the same from the DC7.

Awesome pedal power. Much better than my MXR and my one spot. It meets all my needs and more. Great for high MA usage pedals. Super clean with no added noise. This is the lowest profile pedal you can get. I use it with two splitters and I am able to power 9 pedals.

My pedalboard was getting noisy with my old power supply. And I needed an upgrade. The DC7 looked perfect on paper, but was it worth the money? I debated long and hard and talked myself into ordering. In hindsight, there should not have been a debate. Its perfect. I have clean and noiseless power for all of my pedals, even in this old house. A lot of supplies could probably provide the same. But I really like the size. This is thin enough to fit under my Pedal Train Metro with room to spare. It came with a template and screws so it is solidly mounted under there. I also like the power gauge that tells me I have room to spare in the power availability (and if I need to down the line, this can be expanded with a DC4, I believe). The cables that came with it had everything I needed. But I do expect Ill need to pick up more cables as I add pedals. They appear cheap enough, so its not really a concern.

I went from a One Spot daisy chain, to an inexpensive Joyo power supply, to the Cioks DC-7. its amazing how much cleaner my rig sounds. Little hums are gone and every port can run 9, 12, 15, or 18 volts. it has so much CLEAN power available.

There’s a lot of hype around this power supply, and I’m just here to support that hype. It’s so small and lightweight and versatile, I think it’s the best thing going right now.
