    With the addition of these cables, I was able to centralize my network connections. These cables allowed me to connect my Internet/TV gateway to my Netgear AC 1750 Nighthawk router and shorten the runs. Not only did it reduce the clutter in the closet, I believe it has brought my home network closer to 1GB transfer rates. Using the assorted colors of these cables allowed me to set the data and TV runs so I know which ones control which devices.
