Yes, this bag truly does smell horrible but never fear! I washed mine in vinegar as recommended by another comment and it’s completely cured. It seems to be the lining that smells rather than the (fake) leather exterior, so I unzipped it all the way and put it inside out in a large mesh bag before washing on gentle with warm water. Used about a half cup of white vinegar. The bag is completely fine, looks exactly the same and doesn’t smell like fish or vinegar. A Christmas miracle!

Bought this last minute for a last minute trip that needed me to have a suit. While everything folds in well enough, if the bottom 1/4 of the jacket had to be folded due be too long for the bag. So, check the measurements to see if youll have enough room. Otherwise, decent bag with a surprisingly nice pouch for the shoes. After the 4 flights no damage to the contents and only had to iron out the wrinkle on the bottom. If youre like me and use a suit rarely, and even less often need to travel with one I say buy it.

I got this for my dad and it was his favorite gift! He loved how real it felt (I felt it too) and how high quality it looked 10/10

This bag looks lovely and holds more than you’d expect. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it smelled strongly like foul chemicals and even months after purchasing it, that odor remains. Pack your clothes in it and by the time you arrive they’re permeated with the same heavy odor. We’ve tried laying it outside to air out as well as applying various odor eliminators all to no avail. So while it may be a great bag, it’s ultimately unusable.

This bag looks really nice but smells so terrible. Ive been airing it out on my porch for DAYS and it still reeks of fish! It literally smells disgusting. Im not sure how to get the smell out. I seriously cannot describe how horrible it smells. It smells like rotten fish had been sitting in the bag for weeks. If I touch it the smell remains on my hands until I was them. I am so disappointed because the bag looks really good! I cant dry clean it because its leather. EDIT: HERE IS HOW I FIXED THE SMELL- Okay so after writing this review I used a couple methods to try to get the smell out. I initially tried airing it out for several days and stuffed it with some scented dryer sheets and sprayed with extra strong febreeze. This did nothing. What worked was a combination of 2 things: washing with cold water on the delicates setting + hang drying, and using a water and lemon juice mixture on a paper towel to rub all over the leather parts of the bag. I guess the acidity of the lemon juice neutralizes that disgusting fish odor. I then sprayed some fabric freshener on the inside part of the bag. Washing it did not ruin the leather (picture is after washing, I think it looks fine). Its still drying, but honestly it looks exactly the same as before I washed it. I used non-perfumed detergent. Hope this helps!

This is a nice bag for one or two items, if theyre light weight. One of the side zippers broke the first time I used it- it can still be used but wouldnt buy again. I packed 3 skirts, a sweater and 2 blouses and the zipper pull broke off when I was closing it.

The clothes arrived wrinkle free and was able to hold all my items. Just wished the outer material was made to avoid it from scratches.

Very pleased with the quality of the leather and the bag as a whole. But my god, I opened the packaging and unzipped the bag to unravel it and the lining literally smelled like a pool of sewage. Like if you continued to pee in a toilet but just let it marinate. Porto potty-esque. I hope the smell leaves. Leaving the bag outside to air it for the time being.

Has held up well with a few uses and is easy to use.
