The location of the drain valve makes it a terrific pain in the behind to drain the water out after use. You have to lift the entire compressor and rotate it slightly to one side to drain, and it is not easy. The position of the valve on the side prevents the use of automatic purge valves as well. I think its safe to say well be looking for a compressor with a drain on the bottom the next time we need a new one!

I love how quiet this compressor operates! I dont jump when it cycles like I used to with my old compressor :) Some nuts vibrated loose after a few hours or operation. I would recommend this device though.

Can hardly believe how quiet it is compared to my old pancake compressor. Ordered Thursday afternoon and received Sunday afternoon via US Mail which was hard to believe. Item was well packaged. Manufacturers decorative box with pics and info was inside a heavier weight cardboard box providing extra protection during shipment. Good instructions and easy assembly. Im already putting it to use today.

This compressor is even quieter than I expected. Such an improvement over my old oil-filled compressor that gave a jet engine a run for its money. I haven’t sprayed finish with it yet so will have to see how that goes. So far, great value for the price.

This is very quiet for a compressor. I was impressed, runs great and the aluminum tank is nice since I usually leave it Ill of air all the time. Holds pressure very well it has been holding steady for a few weeks now.

The wheels are cheap as hell and constantly come loose. It has a warning on it against running the compressor for more than an hour or so or else it will burn up. If youre just driving nails or doing light painting its fine but if youre planning to spend hours with the compressor running continuously, or you plan to leave this plugged into your garage 24/7, this is not the device for you. This is very much a hobbyist grade machine for light work.

Man, this thing is quiet. Obviously, not for extended air tool use (maybe a brad nailer), but super handy for tires, quick use of an air blower etc. it’s also really light and I’ll say it again, really quiet. For light-duty use, it’s ideal. I just moved and haven’t wired up my big compressor yet. Since I’ve converted most of my air tools to battery now, I’m in no hurry. The CAT is a great “go-between”. And it’s really quiet!

How can I give this 11 stars? Where has this been my whole life, its super quiet and pleasure to use. I have a huge RV garage 2500 Sq ft 18 ft high ceiling and it can really echo. but this is almost whisper quiet

Love this thing. Got this to replace my small airbrush compressor with tank. Got the fittings and now able to also fill my bike and scooters tires. Did a test fire and a 2nd test with soapy water to check for any leaks. Very impressed with how well put together this was and UPS mailed it without any damages to the box and item inside. I do recommend a moisture trap for this thing as it does collect alot of moisture in the tank from just 20min of use.

I like it. It tips over backward though if you’re not careful. Needs more lateral and longitudinal stability. Better wheels would help and maybe a few more stabilizing feet.
