It is stable, sturdy and good enough for 17 inch laptop and less. My son likes it.

Im loving this stand. While its adjustable to any height or angle, the joints are very stiff so that it definitely stays exactly as you want.

I like the fact that it is research, but it is not clumsy. I use two monitors and a laptop at work. This gave me an extra monitor and extra space below.
