Pros. Good image quality and brightness. Easy to use. Cons. Very limited keystone adjustment (when projector has to angle up or down to the screen) of only a few degrees. Loud fan noise. Poor speakers--Id recommend using your own.

Im comparing this BIGASUO projector to a higher end Optoma projector (~$650) that Ive owned for several years. (Optoma HD27 3200 Lumens 1080p Home Theater Projector) TL;DR: Great for kids, casual, & outside use! Excellent for the price. Setting up a home theater? Buy a better projector. Screen mirroring with iOS on iphone never worked properly. Have to use a laptop. Audio needs to be plugged in or bluetooth connected to the laptop. I projected both against a pretty decent projector screen in a totally dark room. I watched scenes from the Netflix show Wednesday, and the beautiful nature documentary Planet Earth (multiple episodes to see forest, ocean, mountains). I tried to take pics with my iphone, but the iphone makes a lot of adjustments and the pictures did not accurately represent what I was seeing with my eyes. *BRIGHTNESS: Both projectors were bright! + Optoma: You can adjust brightness with the Optomo. I wish it could be a bit brighter. + Bigasuo: brightness adjustments are minimal, but its pretty bright and I was happy with that. When tested in a room with the curtains open, it still does a decent job. I could easily project an exercise class during the day and have no trouble. *CONTRAST: + Optoma: You can make a lot of adjustments + Bigasuo: Quite contrasty. Adjustments make minimal difference. This was my biggest issue. The white to black balance was a bit too much. Its tolerable and Id get used to it, but probably never completely stop noticing. *NOISE/RESOLUTION: + Optoma: crisp, sharp lines + Bigasuo: noticeable blurry edges, noise, and lower resolution. *COLOR: +Optoma: Again, lots of adjustments/settings. I like the color settings I have, but theres room for improvement. + Bigasuo: The dynamic range is much less. Colors appeared on the dark (contrast again) side, and not nearly as much gradient. A forest has lots of colors of green. You dont see the gradient well with the Bigasuo. *BLACKS: (Projectors have issues here) + Optoma: Not bad. I wish the blacks were darker in night time scenes. + Bigasuo: Decent. Probably a bit darker than the Optimo, but still room for improvement. *EASE OF USE: both easy to plug in and turn on. Plenty of ports for HDMI/audio/USB connections. + Optoma: Has multiple feet that adjust. Easy to keystone and adjust angle w/remote. Has ability to make your projection larger or smaller by turning a dial on the lens. + Bigasuo: Only 1 adjustable foot (annoying, but you can use objects to compensate). Only way to change the size of projection is moving the projector. Keystone is a joke. Its a dial that barely moves and makes a tiny change. *TRAVEL: + Optoma: No carrying case. + Bigasuo: Awesome carrying case. Makes it very easy to take anywhere! *SOUND: + Optoma: no bluetooth. Plug into external speakers. I run the sound out of my laptop to my wired speakers. Sometimes I use my JBL bluetooth speaker, but pair it to my laptop. + Bigasuo: bluetooth doesn’t work well enough, it has too much lag. Very inconsistent and unusable. Use wired speakers. Or just connect the bluetooth speakers to your laptop. PROJECTION SIZE / ZOOM + Optoma: has manual optical zoom. Can set the projector where you want and zoom in and out. + Bigasuo: only digital zoom, which only makes the noise and resolution worse. You need to physically move the projector to make the projection larger or smaller. SCREENCAST (iOS) ++ Bigasuo: never worked properly. I was able to connect both devices to my home wifi network. I was able to see my iphone 11 pro projected in portrait mode. Landscape mode would not project. When I opened netflix and HBO, and played a show, it would not project in portrait or landscape. It then lost sound, and never displayed again. Each time I started the process over again, same problems. OVERALL: For the price, this is a good little projector! Currently listed at $219. This is a good deal for this projector. If my budget was under $250, I’d get this projector. If I wanted it for my kids, I’d get this projector. If I wanted it for mostly outside use, I’d totally get this projector. If you’re fine only using a laptop, get this projector. If I’m setting up a nice little home theater for adults, I’d save and buy a better projector. If you need this to work from your iphone, find a different projector.

After having tested half a dozen of these projectors, its easy to get down to the main pluses and minuses quickly. PLUSES: The projection is reasonably bright, so you can see it in most rooms. I didnt test brightness for outside and I believe Ill be challenged to find one that can work in daylight. But indoors....it was a nice picture if a bit faded due to light. MINUS: Bluetooth. Like all projectors I have tested, the bluetooth has a delay in going to a wireless sopeaker. The good news is that the delay with this projector may be the smallest I have encountered. The bad news is its still annoying to watch a movie and see the lips move before the vocals catch up. Youll need a wired speaker for this projector also. Nothing is perfect, especially with projectors. This may be as good as we get for a while.

This is an absolute gem of a device. I really love it extremely good resolution fantastic device I use it for presentation and teaching my kids. I found this to be extremely useful device for my household.

I was very excited to try this projector. Ive always wanted to host an outdoor movie night in my yard. We spend a bit of time outside during the spring/summer/fall seasons. 1st, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that it comes with a carrying case w/ handle, remote control, HDMI input, screen mirroring capability, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Bluetooth. We first tested it on the wall in the dining room and set up the internet connection and got a sense of what the screen would look like. This was all very good and passed the test. After purchasing a pop-up screen and finally getting some nice weather to test it outside at night, we plugged it in, set it up, and were a bit disappointed. To be honest, the picture quality was not as clear as we initially thought, and the sound was very low. At max, the sound could barely be heard over regular street noise. This projector will definitely need an additional sound source in order to make my outdoor movie night dreams come true. Since it was late when we tested the projector, I will admit we did not make any adjustments to the screen clarity or add speakers to see how that process would go. Ultimately, for our first experience with a projector, its not terrible but I feel you may be able to find one that you like equally or more for a less money. Luckily for me, I plan to finish the basement and use this projector as our TV source instead of spending more money on another (never big enough) TV. I will enjoy our future outdoor movie night just as much with this projector but know what to look for if the need arises to purchase a different one.

I set this up in the garage so we can watch movies while working on our projects. It’s easy to set up and we access our wifi clear bright picture quality.

We finally got to use our BIGASUO 5G WiFi Bluetooth Projector on a camping trip last week. We taped a sheet on the side of the trailer and set up the projector hooked up to our blue-ray player. The picture quality exceeded my expectations and the sound was sufficient for everyone to hear even though some were more interested in talking than hearing the sound or for that matter watching the movie. BUT for those of us who did watch and listen, it was a very enjoyable evening. The unit is very easy to set up and use with the included remote. We did not have WIFI in the camp so I was not able to test that part. Everyone was impressed with the picture quality which could have been much better if we had bothered to get a real screen. We look forward to years of having more and more movie nights and I will be investing in a decent screen one of these days. This is an outstanding projector; well worth the extra we paid.

I dont have a big space and I didnt want to take up a big space with a television and all the attendant stuff that accompanies it like something to put it on and all that. Even though I havent had the best of luck with previous projectors, I figured it had been a while and projector technology must have improved since the last one I had and I WAS RIGHT!! This one is GREAT! Its super easy to hook up (my chief and primary complaint is that the cord sticks out the back WAY far so mounting it up high has been proving a bit of a challenge) and theres plenty of options for source input. I have a Gen. 1 Chromecast plugged in it and it works aces! The picture quality is excellent and the sound isnt bad (theres options for alternate sound though so thats no big deal either). The remote covers all the functions of the projector plus it comes with a padded carrying case. Because of this projector, I have a WAY bigger viewing space fot ny various flights of visual fancy than I ever could have with a television!
