The build quality is really nice. Its solid metal and feels like it. I got the dark gray color to match my dark gray MacBook Pro. The color of the stand is not a perfect match to my MacBook. The stand is just slightly darker and reflects less light, but they look good together. If I were to order again, I might just embrace the a bit of contrast and go with a lighter version.

When I read in the description that this was made out of aluminum, I assumed it was going to be a light weight sort of deal. This is solid metal (or at least it feels that way). It has enough weight to it that I dont think it would be easy to tip over, which I was kind of concerned about since my laptop would be sitting on it. I ordered this in silver and can confirm that the color you see in the product photo is accurate. I dont think there is anything I would change about this product.

Exactly what I needed, I have 2 of them.

I run two 26” monitors in addition to my laptop at work. This stand puts my laptop in line with the monitors which makes the laptop much easier to use. I can also store my stapler, paper clip holder and scotch tape dispenser underneath which improves the workspace on my desk. Great purchase.

I bought to provide cooling for my MacBook. It works well for that and also raises the MacBook up to a more comfortable level. It’s very sturdy as well.
