I bought two of the same monitors, once in 2019 and have been using it since. I recently bought another one for work, and I noticed a lot of differences from the older model. The framework around the screen is a little bit bigger but the screen is a little bit darker.

I purchased this monitor to replace a 10+ old monitor on my work macbook. Im going from a 1920x1200 to 1920x1080 monitor and hate to lose the larger vertical space but thats what the majority of monitors are using these days! The only complaints I would have about this monitor are minor, 1. I perfer having an external clip behind the monitor as I have some cables that need to be run but out of the way that dont plug directly into the monitor itself (such as a camera and a mouse charging cable.) However, if this were a monitor that hat the back exposed I can see this being appealing and cleaner from both sides, just not something I would need. 2. The power button is big and bright underneath the bottom right edge of the monitor so its not obtrusive like the Xbox 1 controllers but its noticeable. If doesnt draw attention for the most part but is bigger and brighter than I would like. Neither of these is enough to ding a star since it does what I purchased it for and it looks great! Image quality is top notch (while IPS panels have a slower response time they produce much better color and image quality, Im not gaming but working so its just what the doctor ordered.) The imagine is nearly the same quality as the Macbook Pro retina display while using the proper profile. I really didnt have to do much to get it setup an working, unlike monitors of old where I could spend many hours tweaking to get just right. Im very happy with this purchase, especially since it popped up on my price watch at below $100!

I purchased this because I wanted a high-quality, light-weight display that was easy to transport for working trips when I go to visit friends & family. Works great with my Macbook Air allowing me to work from anywhere.

Being on a keyboard all day, I found that my dry eye problem was becoming worse. And working off a laptop led me with too small a screen to focus on. Being on a very small budget, there wasnt much choice in options. I chose this specifically because it talked about being easier on the eyes. Hallelujah! This truly is easier on my eyes. My eyestrain is seriously reduced and my dry eyes are no longer so dry. The size is ok for my work area, which is pretty small. I sit about the length of a full-sized bed away from the screen. Further away would be too far. Closer would be uncomfortable. Plan accordingly. There are two things that are mildly disappointing to me. First is the reduced sharpness of the picture. The one on my laptop is much sharper. Im trading off the larger size and reduced eyestrain for somewhat less sharpness. Ill live with it. The second is the inevitable near lack of speaker volume. Plan to either use headphones or attach secondary speakers. I use some small, inexpensive ones that are perfectly adequate to my admittedly unsophisticated and demanding needs. I use headphones when I am editing legal transcripts. All in all, Im perfectly satisfied that the product met my requirements. If I had the ability to get a top of the line eye-care monitor, Id jump at the opportunity. But in the beggers-cant-be-choosers category, this is surprisingly adequate.

I basically bought this because of Evans review. I also have a background in photography so hearing him say how decent it was spurred me to purchase it. My last monitor was some cheapo Best Buy garbage just so I could have a monitor. This naturally is leagues ahead. When looking at the photos I did in University using an iMac and comparing them to this monitor and my prints, I do feel like the vibrance is a just a tad too high, but its default settings are quite similar to what I used to use back then. The menu buttons blow my mind because it actually tells you what they do instead of the BB monitor where pressing them was a guessing game on how to navigate. Certain features seem to be locked an unavailable for adjustments, so I cant reduce the vibrancy on the monitor for whatever reason. My biggest complaint is the idea that I had to spend an extra $50 for a taller monitor because Im taller than most people, that just feels crappy. Also the Amazon community said you can adjust the height of the stand? But Im not seeing any clue on how and the manual doesnt explain this either. I just need it like, 2 inches shorter. Otherwise, I love and enjoy the monitor but the extra $50 left a sour taste in my mouth.

Working as a programmer, I constantly had headaches before due to the eye fatigue. Then this eye-care monitor caught my attention, I just wanted to try and see whether it works, if not I will return. It indeed helped my eye problem. I tried many monitors at work, cheap and expensive ones, to find one that will help my symptoms, I found a few, but the price is either very high or many of them require a better computing setup to utilize their full potentials. For example, the best one I used is Dell 4K ISP, but it cost over $500 (2018) and its on sale. Other brands are good, but I slowly realize its just a brand many of them use the same manufactory. So the price is basically depending on how popular the brand is. BenQ is not a very familiar brand in the US, but I used to have a BenQ laptop I really like, so I had a very positive feeling about this brand. At the moment of purchase, I had about 3 options: this monitor, a Dell one, and an Acer one. I had an Acer monitor before and its bad, it looks really nice, but when you used it, you will know its cheap. Back in 2015 the Acer monitor costed about the same price as this one, not worth it. Dell one was more expensive, about $400 dollars and 4K, however, I know 4K monitor normally requires a better setup, I had a mac mini (last generation) at home, it doesnt support 4K, why bother to spend so much for that. This monitor is as it described on its amazon page. I just got it about a few days, and after a day of work, and then use this monitor at home, I didnt develop the headaches i used to have. Hope its a durable one also.

There is a discernible horizontal line cutting through the middle of my screen that shows through all applications, under it both side edges have a white halo effect coming in about half an inch and fading gracefully into what is a noticeably slightly lighter bottom half of my screen. Dont believe the hype on these. I have a second (same model) one that has other issues I wont rant about here. Best of luck, I would go with another brand. never had any other brand blow out so quickly in my many many monitors over my years.

I got these monitors for my home workstation so that I could work from home. Since we’ve had them my wife has confiscated them for her machine. She does a lot of spreadsheet and email work and for that they are great. Be aware that these are not height adjustable and the base isn’t exactly super sturdy or weighted in anyway. We are currently using them on the factory mounts but may be switching to a dual monitor mounting Bracket in the future. The lcd’s are clear from edge to edge with no blooming while working at night. The bezels are nice and thin so the footprint isnt to big. I don’t know about gaming with them as I have a dedicated tv I use for that. Overall for the price, these monitors are good.

    Greater than one week

I recently started wanting a true PC setup for my streams. I had one of these monitors from a different website and loved it so much that I decided to buy a second to add a second monitor to my setup. The monitor came fast and was handled well. The packaging was well protecting the screen. The screen is so clean and clear. I have no issues with getting it to work with my setup via display port or HDMI. If you’re looking for something to just browse the internet with or to do gaming this is the perfect screen. The size is perfect for me. Would highly reccomend

Get these regularly for our office, and 2 of these so far had the foam inside busted, a used HDMI cord with white.. paint? All over the cord. All the plastic baggies were just stuffed in the box, when normally each cord/manual has its own baggie. Dont know if these were returned and they re used them or something but was kinda iffy about using them. Luckily they still work as of now though....
