This is a good power strip, with plenty of well-spaced outlets with room to accommodate normal plugs, as well as power blocks. It also has a long cord (I recall about 6 feet), which is good, because I need one in order to reach my outlet. This replaced another Belkin I had owned with fewer outlets. Has all the necessary connections for phones and cable. Unfortunately, Belkin has chosen to use a rather small, CHEAP power switch on the strip, and this is a shame, because it can be difficult to turn on. Oddly, the switch works better as youre turning the power strip off. Its also black in color, which can make it hard to see on the unit. The previous Belkin strip I owned had a LARGE power switch located on top where it was easy to see and easy to access, and it was a quantum leap better than the switch on this unit. So once again, I must take a corporations Engineering Dept. to task for taking what could be a really superior product, and ruining it with one component central to its operation that someone decided go low end.

I needed a surge protector that will enable my old treadmill (bought in 2012) to work after moving into a home with GFCI breakers on all the outlets. Previously I had no problems with the treadmill in 3 other homes. Moved into my new residence and discovered that even the “older looking” outlets in the garage were connected to the GFCI breaker. So the treadmill kept tripping the circuit. When plugged into the outlet directly the circuit tripped immediately when the treadmill belt tried to start. With a high Joule rated surge protector I got up to 2.0 MPH before the circuit tripped. Finally I tried this Belkin Home Theater protection which has EMI/RFI noise protection of 75 decibels (dB) which means 150kHz to 100MHz noise filtration. This did the trick! No problem with the treadmill belt or incline shutting off the power.

A fraction of the cost for the same item in the local stores. Its a Belkin, so theres nothing more to say about it.

This is going to come off pretentious and I apologize in advance for that. For Christmas, we gave our son a PS5 so had his PS4 just sitting in the corner collecting dust. We thought about selling it - still are thinking about it - but in the interim, I just want my house to be organized. So, we took the old unit and installed it in our living room as well as reattached an old school PS3. We wanted to add more electrical outlets to cover everything from the video game systems, woofer, sound bar, cable, etc. We had a different surge protector that was bulky and messy. This is a lot thinner and had enough space for my son to add labels so we know what plug is what. I love how streamlined the unit is and the cord is a decent length so we can hang the protector on the wall. It also comes with a protection for up to $300k worth of electronics should something happen and that is unheard of. You can plug your phone into this unit, as in the old school house line. I can see this being great for travel - especially on a cruise where outlets are few and far between.

When I was looking for a surge protector, I had 2 main things: Joules + plugs like everyone else. I first did some research to determine how many joules I would need; with how many devises I was connecting. I was also wanting and willing to get one with more joules than I needed just for as piece of mind.

I needed a power strip that had room for all sizes of plugs plus USB and had a long cord. This one is perfect.

I’m not sure about the traveling or charging

Once upon a time, when I was a technology consultant, I had hundreds of my clients purchase these Belkin Surge Protectors. These units are designed to use different-sized power adapters, so none of the outlets should go unused because theyre covered by large plugs. Also, I cannot stress the importance between power strips and surge protectors. This is the latter and its crucial for protecting your expensive electronic devices and computers.

Plenty of plugs for all of your electronic devices. I havent suffered through any power surges but this thing hasnt skipped a beat. I have no issues trusting this thing to protect my computer and TV.

I have three of these and use them for my home entertainment and home office. I swear by this product for my electronics. It is a high quality product that looks nice and has many plug in options. It is big in size if that is of concern to you.
