> 3 dayI have a number of these that I purchased over the years. Ive never had to replace one of this particular model or any Belkin that was not a battery backup Belkin. Its flat and fits nicely under furniture, accommodating a lot of plugs, and the device itself plugs in flat. While using Belkins, Ive never lost a single device to a power spike. Ive trusted their products for more than 20 years.

Greater than one weekI had a tangle of cords around my computer (I have a home office setup and have many devices on/around my desk). This surge protector allowed me to consolidate all of my cords into one place and allowed me to organize the cords so they are not all over the place. It works perfectly with all the different sizes of plugs I have and has drastically reduced the cluttered cord mess I used to have. This is great!

> 3 dayThis is a great profile power strip if you need to slip larger power adapter plugs under furniture (please note any heat warnings on your plugs and power adapters before plugging them in under furniture). The two different orientation of the plugs makes using it very easy. The difference for us between a 4 and 5 star power strip comes down to the coax input/output for surge protection. Because we use this for our TV/Media setup using the cable surge protection is important but the input and output connections for coax were at an odd angle and very hard to turn on the two coax cables. If you dont intend on using this feature, then this is an easy recommend.

> 3 dayListen, its a surge suppressor. I use this around all my electronics, and especially love the coax connection for my TVs connected to a roof mounted aerial antenna.

> 3 dayI like the power strip, but the cable management thing on the end snapped off after about 45 seconds of use. Maybe i will shave off the rough bits on the end.... I actually thought it was a neat idea... maybe it was new guy day in the design shop.

> 3 dayThis surge protectors has saved some things and not others. I live in a very woodsy-area. A strong wind, rain or snow can easily cause the power to go out, but most the time the power will just flicker. A mesh-node to my router system was connected to this surge protector, and it seemed to go bad after a power-flicker. Belkin supposedly offers quite a pricey coverage for damaged items if they are connected to their surge protectors. When I tried to get some support from Belkin, I was told that I would have to send in the surge protector, covering the cost of shipping to Belkin (and back?). At that point, I would have to assume that covering those costs, shipping supplies, etc. would come close to the cost of the mesh-node router that went bad. Not to mention, some other items seem to be working fine still, but it was just this router that seemed to fry from that power surge. I am not sure how Belkin would review and proceed with this issue, as I would assume some of the ports are just fine and the one the router was connected to MAY not be, but how can I tell for sure? Would they just deny the claim and cause for a waste of money for shipping the defective surge protector to them and back (if they deem it working fine?). It is a frustrating process to say the least. If you are going to cover $100,000 in connected electronics to your surge protector, then cover the cost of shipping for YOUR product to be reviewed for the issues at hand.

> 3 dayI will be brief with this review, in short this is a great product. Sleek, slim design with many capabilities that would cost upwards of $30 or $40 for a different brand of equivalent quality. Has an on/off switch, which is great and the best part is that, aside from having 12 outlets, there is ample space on the 6 outer edge outlets for devices with bigger power blocks. The ONLY reason I am not giving this power strip a full 5 stars is that the proclaimed 8ft. cord definitely does not seem to be 8ft. I measured it to be about 3 inches shorter than I was expecting. However, I feel this product still deserves more than 4 stars. If I could rate this a 4.5 stars, I would. Great product, feels hefty and as though it will last for a good amount of time.

> 3 dayMy previous power strip was getting extremly difficult to plug in after a reboot of the cable box. I was afraid some day I would not be able to plug it back in. This new Belkin Power strip greatly improved the process.

25-09-2024Our problem was two fold. We had a mass of wires coming out of a dual plug point in the wall. Each one of them with an multi plug extension cord. Second, we have a cat who likes to nibble wires. How this house has not burned down to the ground is a mystery.
