When turned on it immediately updated to window 11. I wanted windows 10 so not really happy. But it works.

Got the beelink s12 pro. It beats my expectations. Snappy and getting 50-70 fps in LoL. More than enough to run as htpc and home server as what I bought it for. I reapplied thermal paste as they were hard I learned from Reddit. Hoping this little beast will last as some reviews said it died in little less than 6 months. Took off 1 star for bad thermal paste.

As a home theatre PC, it does exactly what I hoped for. Given the low price, I have absolutely no complaints!

Im a Beelink Fan! This is not my first Mini S, and while not cutting edge or high performance Ive found them to be a great mix of well chosen cheaper products in a nice package. Ive only run Linux on them, but I did play around with Windows 11 for a few minutes on this one. Id like to explore more later - its really nice to get a licensed copy of the Pro version, though admittedly Im not sure what that means anymore on Windows.

I bought this computer but quickly returned it. The memory DIMM was unbranded (but with an AZW sticker) with unknown chips, and not Crucial brand as some of the reviews and promo photos suggest. The SSD was also unbranded (consisting of a Maxio MAP1202 controller with NH14TAA1442256G chips). I like to be careful with my choice of components and there is very little or no information about these available. Given that 7% of Amazon review report these computers failing, I just didnt feel confident enough to keep the unit. Memory and storage of known quality can be found cheap on Amazon, so for me it doesnt make sense to take a risk with unknown components. I ended up buying a slightly slower barebones mini PC (Intel NUC) and adding Crucial memory with a Samsung SSD for just a little more than I paid for the Beelink. A final note for Linux users, this Beelink uses an Intel AX101 WiFi/BT module and none of the distros has fully working driver for that since its so new.

To start with, Amazon sent the wrong product. They sent the Windows 11 version, not the Windows 10 version, which is what I ordered. They also packaged it extremely poorly, as in not at all. They simply stuck a label on the box. Amazon has done a very poor job of teaching their warehouse people how to do theie job properly. About half of my orders are poorly shipped. But enough of that. I have decided to keep the Windows 11 version. I didnt want to have to learn Windows 11 on a mini-pc, but I will do so.

Slow processor but not unexpected for the price

What a great little PC! Its just a 4 core celeron so dont expect too much from it. Its a nice little PC for web browsing, editing office documents, or streaming Hulu, YouTube, etc. I have this for my nursery because Im usually up with our baby all times of night. I needed something small as its a little room and the computer had to be small. I figured it doesnt get much smaller than this, and the PC Sticks that they make are super underpowered. So it was time for for the NUC to do its thing.

I had a few hiccups running the latest Debian 11 on this box, some issue with the X server. I decided, just for fun, to try Debian 12 (currently in TESTING) and its a total WIN! Everything works perfectly with no issues - Video, WiFi, GigE, USB 3.1, Bluetooth all running like a scalded dog!
