I wanted to see if it would clear up some of the sound and add bass to rock songs like with linkin park. It definitely added bass but did not sound right. the only two knobs sweep and wide do not seem to help sound accuracy when adjusting. When i turn it all the way down to listen to rap, some notes seem a little distorted, and its crossover made my low notes weaker, so i lowered the amp crossover.

THIS THING IS UNREAL. I HAVE A DM810 SIGNAL PROCESSOR TOO. I CURRENTLY HAVE MY TRUCK SET UP 2 DIFFERENT WAYS. ONE WAY FOR SPL AND ONE FOR SQ. AT THE PUSH OF A BUTTON I CAN HAVE VERY LOW CLEAN POWERFUL CINEMA QUALITY SOUND, OR I CAN BYPASS THE EPICENTRE AND BLOW THE WINDOWS OUT. LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS ON MY SETUP.

Received it today and installed in about 30 minutes. Honestly, all I played was my 80s MTV era songs. Its worth it for that genre alone. I was torn between Wanted Dead Or Alive and Holding Back The Years. No doubt it does what its supposed to do!

So I replaced the speakers in my 15 Honda Accord sport. Added 1 JL 10W3 2 ohm and two alpine amps. 1 amp powers mids and highs and the other powers the sub. From the start is was obvious something was missing and sounded off. While Ive built many systems in other cars Ive never retained the factory radio before. Ive never had a radio so far integrated into the functions of the car that I feel its not worth removing it... Doing some research it appears that the factory radio has a sharp roll off when it comes to bass frequencies. It doesnt just apply to factory radios, I read many products do it. I get it, they want to protect their ragged factory speakers from blowing.
