Excellent Headphones

Amazing quality

I am not sure if I got a refurb. It was part of a daily deal and when I received them the box was not sealed (is that normal?), but the box and headphones looked pristine. The sound is really weird and unsatisfying. There is no soundstage and the sound is very boring and all over the place with weird separation. The worst part is the high end it actually irritates me to no end hear the modified high end on almost all recordings (especially distorted guitars and vocalist with gravely voices). I guess I will return and see if it is just the pair I have or if really an issue with these headphones. I am extremely disappointed as all the reviews seemed to be so positive. I really dont get it. I have much lower priced headphones that are much more enjoyable (e.g. JVC HA-RX700 $40). I also have more expensive headphones that are way better (Phillips Fidelio X1). I even tried with iPhone 6, 160G iPod, and with Fiio E11 amp and still terrible! Actually, I think everyone who thinks they love these headphones should try the Phillips Fidelio X1 or X2 and tell me if they dont see the difference in pure musical enjoyment for all genres and no amp required.

This is my fist set of studio headphones and they are great! The sound is crisp and clear and makes it easy to work with when recording music. The hard-shell case serves its purpose so the headphones dont get damaged, and the different lengths and styles of cords is a nice asset to have when listening and playing with different instruments.

LOL...I dont know why this case was bundled with these headphones. The headphones collapse down into a respectably small sized. The case that they ship with (which is a nice case in its own right) is designed for headphones that do NOT collapse.

bought this for my son Christmas present he checked all of these products and he said this is the best.

In just a year the right side of the headphones died out and stopped producing sound

So I received this product a little while ago. And I have to say what I got was a little dissapointing. The product promised the headphones AND the case. But when I opened the package, all I received was an empty case. So I dont understand why I only received the case when the Product Description said that it had headphones with the case. I need to ship this to another country and I dont have time to wait for it.

The sound is amazing! I purchased these after much research, primarily for use in electronic music production monitoring and mixing. I wanted the ability to mix and monitor through the phones or through monitor speakers without a significant difference in what Im hearing. There is little difference in the range and quality between these phones and the 6 KRK Rockits that are used as monitor speakers. The phones and speakers compliment each other quite nicely.
