I searched all over the internet for headphone reviews -- one place should never be enough lol. We have the Beats Solo and they in no way compare in sound or comfort (and cost less). Amazing sound and blocks out outside noise. Son loves it!

Bought these after reading a bunch of reviews online and comparing different headphones in person as well. These were the best that I tried within my budget (under $200), and honestly sound like they could be worth much more, especially when considering the price of some of the more popular brand headphones out there (ie. Beats, etc). The sound is incredible, when I first tried these on I was blown away by how good my music sounded, and honestly even about a year later Im still impressed every time I put these on and rock out. Buy them, you wont regret it.

These headphones are wonderfully comfortable and feel much more durable than the cheaper ones they are replacing.

Very good headphones for location recording in loud environments and musician monitors in studio recording.

I have had my Amazon account for years now. Never had I ever felt the need to write a review about a product as much I have for this. These are easily the best headphones I have bought. They are one hundred percent worth the money. The case they come is very well built and will keep them safe in most conditions; personally I do not use the case as much as I would like for the sole reason that it is bulky. Mind you it is supposed to be, I just dont always use it. The headphones themselves are about perfectly balanced. If you are wanting to get some headphones to produce music or edit or just to play around these will do everything that you want and more. I cannot recommend them enough, especially for the price. I use them every single day and the only problem I have had is that if I wear them for more than six to eight hours at a time they start to bother me and I need to adjust them a little. They are incredibly well built and handling them would give you that same impression. I have had them since August last year and taken them on countless trips to all sorts of places with varying conditions and they still look new.

Ordered it 3 years ago, and still using it, still good as new. Best efficient cost-price headphone you would ever need.

All my life Ive used the cheap earbuds airlines give you to watch movies in-flight or, slightly better, the Apple buds that come with your phone. Oh, dear reader, if you have been using similar means for your sky high entertainment audio, please dont hesitate to upgrade to Audio-Technica. Life is too short. Pull the trigger. The cost is worth it. These are not noise-canceling, but since the headphones are over the ear, they do block out quite a bit of screaming babies and the like. This purchase will feel like you upgraded your coach seat to first class, at least in terms of sound. The overall experience to your flight quality of life is like nestling into your own audio cocoon. I wear these on 10 hour trips to London and I occasionally remove them to let my ears breathe briefly, but, otherwise, they dont turn into a sweat box and remain comfortable. One tip for airline use: some seats have an audio jack in the arm rest next to your leg, so your audio cable sticks into your leg (depending on the height of your legs); consider buying an inexpensive 90 degree audio adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBJW3T5/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_10) just in case you find yourself in this circumstance. Theres plenty of room in the headphone case to store the adapter. Additionally: I struggled to decide between which model of Audio-Technica to purchase: I would strongly recommend a version that rotates to lay flat on the top of your chest. Its totally worth the extra cost. If you take good care of these headphones, my impression of the build quality is they will last for years, so the extra expense up front for the lay flat feature is well worth it. Lastly, I recently discovered the magnitude of joy and comfort a seat pad gives you on long flights and highly recommend you get some sort of pad like this one, but just note that the increased height of this pad puts your leg closer to the audio jack output if its in the arm rest; hence the need for the 90 degree audio adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EBDV9BU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_87

Got these to replace my aging pair of Sony MDR-V6 that Ive owned for over 25 years. The ability to rotate the cups 180 degrees doesnt make them easier to hang around the neck. The detachable cords are great. The comfort is good - they do get a little sweaty. The sound is comparable to the Sonys. Bright and crisp and accurate. The bass could be deeper. I prefer the bass on my Sonys.
