There is nothing I can say that will add to the reputation of the one and only Audio-Technica. With model M40x I see however why people say its neutral headphones, and the M50x are more bassy headphones, probably more made for listening to music and entertainment. M40x probably more for people who have the option to add bass on their own either through soundcard or I dont know if an amp would help.

Buenos auriculares, sonido plano..como debe de ser para usarlos en estudio. Tengo unos Mackie Mc-150 similares en características y precio...y he de decir que aun siendo ambos planos ...estos ATH M40 son aún incluso más parcos en frecuencias bajas.
