24-09-2024For a 14 ultrabook of any brand to have a 12th gen i9 processor and 32GB RAM, 1TB M.2, and a 2.8k OLED display is incredible. This thing is lightning fast! Cool features like number pad built into the touch pad, full aluminum case, and a fun little customizable display on the lid take it over the top. I love it! Only thing i will warn you on is the battery life. As you can imagine, you will not be powering all that up in a tiny laptop and get good battery life. 4 hours is the max youll get so if you need long life, find an i5 machine with a standard display. This one wont be good for you.

> 3 dayThis laptop is great, very fast and with lots of memory (I take machine learning courses and need lots of memory). The only downside is battery life for me this is not an issue since I am not a road warrior. It also has a setting that only permits charging to 80% to save battry life so leaving it plugged in is not an issue.

> 3 dayI purchased this laptop in January of this year. Life happened and I was unable to unbox it and get it set up until today. Imagine my surprise when it didnt power on at all. It doesnt matter if its plugged in or not. Charging it for five hours didnt help. It just wont come on.

> 3 dayBeen very happy with this laptop, hasn’t blinked yet with anything I’ve thrown at it. I do a decent amount of photo/video editing and light gaming. No issues with battery life either as I know that’s been a common issue.

> 3 dayWhere to start? Has to be the design because if youre buying the laptop, the design is the biggest part. Its very good and an attention getter. Design standouts include etched space edition branding (simulating external paneling on a space station), an OLED external display with an astronaut screensaver (among a few limited others), and a subtle darker(ish) titanium color evoking most premium laptops since the Apple Powerbook G4 (damn I miss that one). DId I mention how much of an attention-getter the external display is? Not quite on the level of wearing Google Glass but on the same spectrum.

> 3 dayThe specs are all there on paper but it just doesnt live up to its hype. The machine is slower than it should be by a country mile.

> 3 dayAmazing craftsmanship put into this laptop, but plagued by the quirks of intel 12th Gen. It will be condemned to poor battery life of around 4 hours until Intel updates their own drivers and firmware to fix the issue. Nothing wrong with laptop and ASUS chose quality components. You have to accept it’s a bit overpriced because of the niche market that would appreciate this laptop for a celebration of their history and space flight.
