Had trouble with this laptop 4 months after I bought it. It turned off while on the internet and wouldnt turn back on. Took it to Best Buy to fix it. They sent it to the manufacturer (ASUS). ASUS sent it back saying that it had been deliberately sold with defective parts (refurbished), despite being listed as new. They refused to fix it (defective parts violate the warranty) and also mentioned that the warranty was expired, even though it was only 4 months old (seller must have bought it a year ago and had it sitting around). Best Buy refused to help as it was bought through Amazon and out of warranty. Reached out to the seller (Birch Tech) who refused to respond and then denied all claims. I then had to spend a whole month going back and forth with Amazon through a lengthy/difficult process to try to get a refund with 5 different service reps, and since it was a 3rd party seller and past the received date, I was thus denied. Even though the seller purposefully lied in the advertisement, all discretion is left up to the seller and Amazon refuses to get involved at all. Avoid the seller for lack of communication and dont expect Amazon customer care to do anything about it. They wont even investigate the seller, all promises to the contrary aside. So I spent over $900 dollars on a gaming laptop that I only enjoyed for 4 months, and now no one will compensate me for it and its basically a broken paper weight. Moral of the story: Dont buy electronics from Amazon, Dont Buy from Birchtech or other 3rd party sellers, Dont think that the manufacturer/Geek Squad will bother to compensate you, and Dont expect any help from any of them if you do.

I do not use this computer for gaming. I only use it for trading stocks, watching YouTube videos and occasionally browsing and uploading movies. The battery life is horrible! As for the sound…. I watch a lot of YouTube videos about stocks. The sound is VERY low. I have all sound cranked up to 100 and it’s STILL low! I would say this is NOT good for gamers. I would not buy this if you are looking for long battery life and loud speakers. The fan is also quite loud.

I bought this laptop to play an FPS game and it has exceeded my expectations as a gaming machine It boots up almost instantly, it has more than enough computing power to run multiple apps at the same time and it hasnt given me an issue so far. (bought it one month ago) I have no complaints to give at this time. Will be reviewed again in 6 months.

First, let me say that I have the version with the 1650Ti, not the 3050. Mine also includes the Webcam, full RGB keyboard, and num pad. There is a slim version that does not have this.
