This is the perfect gaming monitor. Sharp, clear, crisp edges. Fast response. Absolutely no complaints at all! Definitely a recommendation to all.

Out of the box this monitor has a very rich color profile, much better than any of my other IPS monitors. Viewing angle is very wide, responsiveness is what it needs to be for gaming, as advertised. Build quality is very high -- no unexpected plastic squeaks, everything feels really solidly put together. I have two very small complaints related to design: 1) the monitor inputs are mounted at an angle to look flashy. This results in much difficulty when switching display port inputs. My other moonitors which ar emounted parallel to my desk are easy to find the port and plug in without looking. This one I have to move the monitor every time rather than just unplugging and re-plugging. I know there are hardware solutions to switching monitors, but customers shouldnt need one because of a poor design choice. 2) the buttons are on the back right side of the monitor, and if it is used as part of a multiple display mounted horizontally, as the center screen, I must move it to manipulate the buttons. Yeah, I just dont like moving my monitors! (finger prints on the screen, hard to get the placement right again)... These two small negatives should not put you off from purchasing, but are worth mentioning if your situation is the same as mine. I can live with it for the impressive experience Im getting, and the price is right. Buy this monitor, and you wont regret it!

I never be able to go to a smaller monitor for gaming. These are absolutely incredible, AMD Premium is insane and the viewing customization is perfect. I have a new gen RED team build with both 7000 series CPU and GPU, and the viewing expending is perfection. No screen tear, I see everything, and at scale!

Great HDR monitor. I have the 32 version. Running it with a Radeon 6800xt. Playing doom eternal and Far Cry games on this is a dream. My only gripe are the menu controls. There are big buttons on the back right side. It can be difficult just to get out of a setting to the point I just had to turn off the monitor and restart it. So menu navigation can be a pain. but overall best monitor Ive ever had.

I had the fortune of receiving a founders edition 3070 Ti, and decided to buy this monitor as it was on sale for $329. Setting up 1440p @ 144 Hz was a breeze. Turning on G-Sync was also very easy to do in the built-in menu. Overall the interface is very user friendly and easy to get used to. The power light on the bottom right corner is easily visible at a glance to determine power status. The colors seem pretty accurate, and do not disappoint in terms of immersion. Blacks are pretty dark, but bright scenes are certainly discernable as such. Brightness isnt the best, but if you usually play games at night time like me, you wont have a problem. There was some screen tearing initially, but turning on ELMB completely eradicated this issue. This monitor is by far the best, most responsive Ive ever used. Flicking shots has never been easier, and its easy to see what youre sweeping on fast mouse movements. Ive never been more competitive as I am while using a quality monitor like this. It makes it that much easier to see what is happening and respond accordingly in-game. I would definitely recommend this monitor, and would buy another if I needed it. The price was really good, and the results Ive seen have been nothing short of fantastic. Im also running an ASUS motherboard, also which has had no problems whatsoever. I will continue to purchase the quality products ASUS has to offer!

Panel is beautiful for sure. Bright, good contrast the panel really excels at that. If you’re watching movies if something along that line I think this would be perfect or even games that move at a slower pace. Although this is G Sync Compatible in the few games i tested it was on, on the monitor setting but it certainly wasn’t in use. Screen tearing is an issue that is pretty apparent when playing fps. Other than that panel seemed great, local dimming is also something that stands out on this monitor as great.

I do NOT use g-sync, elmb sync, ASCR, or any other fancy stuff on this monitor. They all drop your frame rate and feel slow. I play Insurgency, Arma 3, and warzone maxed out graphic settings. Warzone still looks like garb, but its not the monitors fault. This monitor is crazy nice. Buy this or the 4k one. The 165hz refresh rate DOES work at 2K. The actual DP input is only 1.2. Displayport and hdmi cord included but I ended up getting a DP 1.4 13 footer (accell). I have a decent 3080 setup, and Ive been using a 60hz tv or Valve index for displays. This monitor changed everything. I sucked before now Im cracked at fortnite (no cap)

Im impressed with the build and picture quality of this monitor. Its by far the best ive had. keep in mind this is my first QHD high refresh monitor so i cant really compare to anything but im amazed at how it does its job. I upgraded from 1080p 144hz monitor so im familiar with the smoothness but the ability to see enemies further away makes me realize what i was missing and why i kept dying to others when i could not see them lol. I recommend this monitor for its price anyday! you get exactly what you paid for and more. 10/10

I built my first PC this past holiday season, and I needed a monitor with 120+ FPS after years of using a 4KTV with 60 FPS. Ultimately settled for this one as it seemed like a great price point when on sale for the resolution, size, and refresh rate that I was looking for. And it was! Most other monitors would have only had 2/3 of those, or would have had all 3 at 500-600 bucks, but this was a great investment. Only thing I cant speak to is longevity, since Ive only had it a couple months, and the picture outside the box isnt great (but you can easily manipulate that in the settings). Also, the menu button on the back doesnt seem to work sometimes, and the only way to fix that is to hard reset the monitor, but since I dont fiddle with the picture often, I rarely remember thats an issue. Overall, a great bang for your buck monitor.

I had ordered this product as it is a decent monitor for the price. I would say it would be low end or mid level in comparison to others. I got the package fast when ordered, but somehow got an older model in the packaging, assuming it would be new as the listing stated. They did however address my issue and quickly took care of the problem and I am currently waiting on the replacement. Now about this monitor if you do not understand the specifications other than seeing the Resolution. The key things I would recommend you to google to learn about the specs compared to others are the color ranges, refresh rates, limitations of IPS panels (while they are gorgeous, contrast and black levels are often subpar due to tech barriers and cost efficiency) the type of ports and the related speeds of each based on what you wish to use it for and by this point you will know everything that matters spec wise. I would lay it all out, but most do not because it requires some research and understanding. Youtube is your friend if you wish to know more about how to compare monitors. But I assure you the specs this device offers and it being IPS is great compared to the price and a good range between the 1080p and 4k ranges and keeping up that refresh rate.

Designed for intense fast-paced games. The Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ is a 27” WQHD gaming IPS display with 1ms (MPRT) response time and blazing 165Hz refresh rate to give you super-smooth game play. The VG27AQ features G-SYNC compatibility and ELMB Sync technology to eliminate screen tearing and ghosting.
