Bought this since most modern graphics cards no longer support DVI, therefore my BEN-Q XL2411 could no longer run at 144hz which was my selling point to play FPS games like CS:GO with the higher refresh rate, which makes a huge difference. Im still amazed with how smoothly everything is running, and the fact that it has 144hz at 2K, coupled with the ELMB and G-Sync is outstanding. Even if youre not planning on using it for FPS games its still a really good monitor in my opinion. 144hz may make a huge difference on a monitor thats only 60hz, but if you throw ELMB and G-Sync into the mix its truly amazing, you got to see it for yourself. I know my phone camera may not be the greatest, but in the first photo I have this ASUS monitor up front as my main one and Im using my old BEN-Q as a secondary for now. I havent looked into the 170hz, but I believe you have to have the monitor at 1080p in order for it to work (which in my opinion is a useless tradeoff from the 1440p). ALSO be wary that this doesnt have any VGA or DVI ports on it, but in my case they would have been useless anyways. Also it doesnt use the traditional power cord that you would per-say plug into your power supply, it uses an A/C power converter with this little cord that looks like a laptop charger, though for now it seems to work just fine. All in all I believe its worth it if youre not paying over $500 dollars for, since the price seems to keep fluctuating I would wait for it to be between $400-$500 since I payed around $483 in total for this. Im just putting 5 stars for value since it seems like theyre stabilizing around $450 which is what I think is a good price for this monitor. Good work ASUS, ya done good.

I already had the 27 1080p monitor from ASUS that had the same form factor, but I wanted a better resolution for eSports games (CS:GO, Overwatch, LoL, VALORANT). The screen looks sharp, the colors are bright, and everything looks great especially for a TN panel. Great response time with none of the ghost/smearing issues I had with an AOC VA gaming panel. Vertical viewing angles are abysmal, but thats to be expected from a TN panel. If you need better angles, look into getting the IPS version. However, if this is gonna be your front and center main monitor, you can probably save some money and just get the TN version (faster pixel response time too!) Do note that even though the package says 165hz, its only reachable with an overclock, which disables a lot of the other visual features like GSync/FreeSync and ELBM. Normally it reaches 144hz, which is fine for me since you couldnt pay me enough money to distinguish 144hz from 165hz correctly. However, it is a odd quirk of the packaging worth noting. Also, the panel is coated in this anti-glare solution that can make the screen look almost greasy if very bright, uniform colors are viewed. This is a mixed point. Since my monitor is right in front of a window, it helps me but it could be distracting if you play bright games in a dark environment.

Love it, wish I went with larger or even 2nd one. Only cons are Do Not even consider the speaker existent. The speaker is butt.

I love this monitor, it’s big, adjustable, and has enough ports for what I need. The only reason I won’t give it five stars is because switching inputs is now very tedious, my original ASUS monitor you only had to press one button and it’d scroll through the inputs, but on this monitor you have to scroll down in the settings and do it. Not a huge deal, but just annoying. Another reason why I won’t give it five stars is because there is a SINGLE stuck pixel that shows up every once in a awhile after having the monitor for maybe a month. It’s only one, not a huge deal or very noticeable but once you notice it it’s just a bugger to deal with. But overall, this is by far my favorite monitor I’ve had and I have no regrets. The HDR and FPS is amazing for all gaming, PC and console. Whether it be PS5 or Xbox Series X (which I use both on the monitor plus my PC). Highly recommend this monitor, very good for the price and is such a steal. Luckily you can manage the cable through the back, but if there’s too many or they’re too thick they won’t fit sadly. But you can wrap a cord wrapped around the back to hide all those pesky cables.

The built in speakers for this monitor are absolutely awful. You can barely understand what anyone is saying when using these built-in speakers, and the volume is very low. Beyond that, the picture quality, refresh rate, response times and more are great. Just dont buy this monitor if youre looking for good speakers built in a monitor lol.

I do NOT use g-sync, elmb sync, ASCR, or any other fancy stuff on this monitor. They all drop your frame rate and feel slow. I play Insurgency, Arma 3, and warzone maxed out graphic settings. Warzone still looks like garb, but its not the monitors fault. This monitor is crazy nice. Buy this or the 4k one. The 165hz refresh rate DOES work at 2K. The actual DP input is only 1.2. Displayport and hdmi cord included but I ended up getting a DP 1.4 13 footer (accell). I have a decent 3080 setup, and Ive been using a 60hz tv or Valve index for displays. This monitor changed everything. I sucked before now Im cracked at fortnite (no cap)

La verdad es que es el mejor monitor que he tenido en mi vida. Lo amo. No es el mejor de todos los que hay obvio, pero para lo que quiero es el mejor.

This is the perfect gaming monitor. Sharp, clear, crisp edges. Fast response. Absolutely no complaints at all! Definitely a recommendation to all.

Pros: No detectible ghosting that I could see in testing or games (with Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync turned OFF!!! IMPORTANT! SEE BELOW!) Very good image quality across the entire 32-inch screen. Crisp and clear. Cons: One dead pixel. Luckily it is in a corner spot where I cant see it unless I lean in very close and look for it. It does not affect my usage and I dont notice it at all but it is worth mentioning as a defect. The color saturation is weird. Reds seem a bit too vibrant and the saturation setting in the monitor menu is greyed out no matter what preset you select. Also some of the presets seem insane. One (MOBA Mode I think it was?) changes everything to be so washed out that I suspect it was added as a joke. I tried for hours to get the colors correct using the monitor settings and finally had to resort to adjusting them in the Nvidia Control Panel and even then reds are still a bit too bright (even with HDR OFF). Ive owned dozens of monitors and Ive never had this much trouble adjusting the colors to normal. Why put an option in the settings (like saturation) and then grey it out? That makes zero sense. This monitor has loads of options but only a handful are actually accessible and not greyed out for no reason. Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync is a disaster. How this god-awful technology ever got approved for production is beyond me. There are very few accessible settings in the menu already that arent greyed out and enabling ELMB greys out almost all of the rest. This is after it dims your brightness down to comical levels and screws up your colors so bad you just laugh. But wait, thats not even the worst part! It also generates its own ghosting in the form of red and blue streaks that follow anything on the screen that is white and moving across a dark background (including the mouse cursor!!!). It is truly horrible and seeing as how I couldnt detect any ghosting with it turned off I have no idea why they would hype it up so much or even create it at all. Its like saying Hey you can run a marathon just fine with these cool new shoes we sell but weve included an option to reduce your weight even more by chopping off your feet. Summary: Do not buy this monitor for the ELMB feature!!! It makes a good monitor very bad and actually makes ghosting FAR WORSE when enabled.
