Honestly i have no complaints about this other than the speakers (for me) are just terrible. The quality as well as volume (even at 100%) is low If youre gonna use a headset or a different speaker then youre all good Honestly i wish i could rate 4.5 instead of 4 since the speakers are my only complaint

I love this monitor for gaming it’s great there is just 1 problem it came damaged I had waited awhile for this monitor so I did not feel like returning it. the shell of the monitor is dented on the left corner but other than that it’s fine would definitely recommend buying.

I want to see if Asus could possibly put the headset jack in a more inconvenient place. I know you can do it, Asus engineers, because you werent even trying here, and you managed to put it in whats at least the most inconvenient place on the unit. Or at least include an extension cable to at least make the headset hookup reachable, one that doesnt automatically shut off the HDMI audio, as it does now. Otherwise, hooking up the headset involves wrestling with the screen, and hoping I dont damage it. The HDMI audio here is otherwise a huge headache. The volume is too soft, although I have to say the clarity is excellent. I seem to understand more movie dialog with the lower sound. Its still bothersome if I wish to hear the soundtrack as well. To get the sound at the volume I desire, I have to use a 3rd-party app. That shouldnt be necessary. The other problem is that its HDMI sound conflicts with my motherboards onboard sound. This is in Ubuntu and Windows. Ive had to go into EUFI BIOS shut off the onboard completely. This gets to be a problem if I want to use my headset. I refer you to the first paragraph. Because Ive had to shut down my onboard, I cant plug the headset directly into the PC. I guess I could reassign the ports, but that will have to wait until I figure out how.

Love these monitors for gamming and for work they are large enough to split screen and essentially turn two monitors into four. Super productive!!

Great 1440p Monitor, perfect 165hz for Next Gen Consoles and PC gaming, 1ms refresh rate, and Free-Sync and G-sync compatible. Horrible Speakers Though.

Panel is beautiful for sure. Bright, good contrast the panel really excels at that. If you’re watching movies if something along that line I think this would be perfect or even games that move at a slower pace. Although this is G Sync Compatible in the few games i tested it was on, on the monitor setting but it certainly wasn’t in use. Screen tearing is an issue that is pretty apparent when playing fps. Other than that panel seemed great, local dimming is also something that stands out on this monitor as great.

I love these monitors; Im currently running 3 of them, but one out of three I bought has a pixel that is stuck a light purple color. Ive had the monitor less than a week.

Wooeked for 6 weeks. Cannot return to Amazon for replacement. Must package and return to ASUS for evaluation of problem, possible repair. Until then, he has no screen. Disappointed in Amazon. And I buy LOTS from them.

If you only use this for gaming it will be fine, but for watching movies its horrible, every time there is a black background scene, that black looks white and thats pretty annoying.
