What a piece of junk! Wifi at 5G intermittent at best. Loses WAN connection 10 times daily. No phone support, just chat and they are terrible. I asked for a link to a manual that explains all the settings for every page of settings in the router interface and was told they dont have it - it is just a trial and error kind of thing. They must be kidding me. I am returning it and getting a NetGear router. This is my last Asus purchase!!

We cut the cord with our cable company and need to upgrade the WiFi in our house. So far I am very pleased with coverage and signal strength we are getting from the unit. It was a bit on the expensive side but we will be ready for the future since it WiFi 6 compliant. Connecting to router using the app was a bit confusing at first.

Hands-down better Wi-Fi coverage and signal strength and stability than my AC88U

I decided to disable the wireless on my Google Fiber box and use this router to see what the WiFi 6 fuss was all about. I have multiple devices running WiFi 5 (802.11ac) and Im seeing download speeds between 300-500 depending on where I am in my house. I have two devices with WiFi 6 (802.11ax) cards and I couldnt believe the numbers I was seeing (800 down)! This router paired with your ISP of choice will allow you to maximize your download speeds and truly get what you pair for.

I purchased this router to replace a TPLink rounter that was 6 years old. My wife was complaining about connectivity inside the house, so I looked at a few reviews and decided to splurge on this one. Hopefully it will be current, and working for the next 10 years.

I paid up for this router because WIFI and the internet are essential to making a living for me. Look elsewhere. Mine tanked after just less than a year. I got to spend an hour waiting for a customer service rep who then spent 20 minutes trying to get the spelling of my email address correct....for a registered product..ASUS already has all that data tied to the serial number which I had already given him. He then had me reboot the router and my modem 6 times though I explained that I had already done both 20 times before I called. Thanks for nothing.

I purchased this router in January 2022. A year later, it briefly emitted a mild burning odor, and the external lights stopped working. The router stopped working entirely in June of 2023.

Great router, I have nothing to bad to say about it. I have been trying to get this router for a decent price for a while. I finally was able to buy it, but something sketchy is happening here. I pretty sure I purchased this brand new. But somehow i bought this used. I received it thinking it was sealed by the manufacturer, but it was just scotched taped up. And there was a sticker on it with Amazon marketplace. Granted it looks new and everything, but i am not comfortable, that amazon was misleading me in buying a new router and end up getting a Used one. I would give this a 5 star, but really sketch up switching it up. I never saw on the site it was used when i decided to buy it. SO SKETCHY.
